INGREDIENTS
Slim Shots contains natural oat, palm oil, artificial vanilla flavor, sweetener, aspartame (Phenylalanine) and beta carotene color.
Phenylalanine makes of 50% of aspartame, an artificial sweetner commonly used in diet products. ADD/ADHD patients and diabetics may experience negative side effects as a result of consuming this ingredient. Those with PKU, or at risk for PKU, should avoid Phenylalanine as it can cause brain damage or even death.
EXERCISE
Unlike many other supplement websites, the Slim Shots site gives relatively in-depth nutritional advice. The exercise advice is very rudimentary: Commit to work out three times a week for 30 to 45 minutes. It also advises that you join a fitness class or devise a home workout routine that incorporates both aerobic and strength training.
CONCLUSION
The editorial tone on the Slim Shots website doesn't lead you to believe that the company is in the snake oil business. There are clinical studies posted, and good advice about how you should eat and exercise. Even though the language is not over-hyped, there still is some question as to how Slim Shots actually works.
Ultimately, it's up to the consumer to decide if it's worth, um, a shot.

It's awesome! I just got it today and I forgot I took one in the morning and I wasn't hungry until 2:30. i took one then with a lite lunch - it is now nearly 6 and I am FINE! AND it's so weird but I have been feeling, well, ummm..."amorous" all day. Coincidence?! I think not. I'm going out tonight to a singles dance on V-day and I think (I know it sounds crazy) but I THINK Slim Shots enhanced my mood!
If it keeps up like this, I'll be a lifer. I have gained and lost the same 30 pounds for 30 years. I have done every diet and I know more about food than a doctor... the only thing that EVER stopped me from staying slim was HUNGER. The Phen-Fen and other suppresenants had too many aweful side effects.
This has NONE!
Well, except maybe one... hee hee
It definitely curbs my appetite. I only use it when I have cravings and it's not a normal meal time. For instance, today I had a healthy turkey wrap for lunch at 11:30 and by 12:30 I was hungry - so I took a slim shot with a water chaser and my appetite is curbed!
This is my 4th review.Ive lost 19 & a half pounds in 6 weeks taking one shot a day!I lost 8 & a half pounds just in the past 3 days!IT DOES WORK!The taste isnt all that bad & my cravings ae gone!
I just ordered them today. Online yes it is buy one get one for free but if you chooes the s&h for the $8 you are not on a montlhy commitment. I am afraid of getting caught in that too but I called as a follow up and they assured me that I am not on a mothly plan. I can always call when I recieve them to make sure & if I am xo right then and there.
Its important that a good eating habbit is established and some walking or activity three times a week. Your bodys metab goes into over drive for like 72hrs, so that is wht every other day should be good for most. We are in control of our weight loss, not a pill or a shot... its just there to help but ultimitally we decide too losed weight as we do to quit smoking or stop drinking or even giving something up for lent... its about the mind and inner soul. I can't tell you how excited I am. I'm going to look great this summer!!! Wow!! At last!!

so i'm thinking about buying slim shots. i'm just wondering though after i hopefully loose the weight, and stop taking it will my cravings go back to normal?? any thoughts?
I bought this product because of the majority of positive reviews here. Unfortunately, Slim Shots did not work for me AT ALL! I even increased the dosage to three times a day but I my appetite did not change. I had great hopes.
I don't mind the taste at all. I'm on day four. I have had some stomach discomfort, but I don't know if it's the SlimShots. Nothing I can't live with. I'm suffering from menopausal weight gain. It's the pits! I don't eat very much, but my bod has turned to FAT! Ugh! I'm so depressed. I'm trying to do 3-4 miles on my treadmill every day, so we'll see what happens. Good luck to all of us!!!
WOW! Slims shots do not work at all!! All it did was give me a bad taste in my mouth and a headache everyday. Sorry, but they suck.

it works really really slow and i didn't really any results. tin the beginning the taste was fine BUT after a week i couldn't stand the it, the taste or the smell was just terrible. i tried to mix it was think, such as coffee, yogurt, cereals, but nothing could have hid that taste. i still some left but i can't make myself take any more, i want to vomit just thinking about the taste.
I had not read any reviews before buying slim shots. I had lost 40 pounds 2 years ago and let 10# sneak up on me this winter and wanted a little extra help to take it back off. This is my experience.
Day 1: Just drank it like a shot. As soon as my taste buds realized what I had done, my stomach said HELL NO! The slim shots, my fiber one ceral, 2 cups of coffee and my orange juice immediately came back up. Not only did I have the nasty taste in my mouth, but also nasal cavities.Not good
Day 2: I thought since I had paid 30 bucks for this sludge I would try again. This time I put it in my coffee along with about 5 packs of Splenda, and 1/2 cup of creamer. I could see the oil floating on top, ruined my coffee but choked it down. Not good.
Day 3: Mixed it in my strawberry yogart. Not good
Day 4: Mixed it in my strawberry yogart, added nuts and chocolate chips. I could still taste it 5 hours later. Better, but Not Good.
Day 5: Which is today. Did the yogart thing again, but chased each bite with a drink of diet Pepsi. Have noticed that my appetite is less, but not sure if it is because my stomach is queasy. The package said "pleasant tasting" just wondering who they asked. A landfill rat? Weighed myself day 1 and plan to wait till the end of 30 days to weigh again so that I can see true results. Wish me luck...burp.

Just bought them today and took a few minutes ago, nothing yet. However, I didn't find the taste as bad as everyone's making it out to be. It was like a creamer with a slight after taste.

the taste is so so i does taste kinda bad but its not horible i just eat yogurt right after taking it and the taste goes away pretty fast i took one yesterday and i took 2 today im not exactly sure if its working i dont know if its really in my system yet im trying hope this works im combining this healty eating and wii fit
I just purchased Slimshots through their website. They have a special buy one month get one month free plus $7.99 for shipping or they have the same deal with free shipping BUT it is an automatic payment every month and after two months the price goes down to $14.99. I think the website explains it better than I do! I purchased the buy 1 month get one month free and paid the shipping and handling because who knows if I will like it, I hope I do!
This stuff is so nasty tasting that I vomited the first time I tried it -- I did persevere and took it a few more times. I do believe it suppressed my appetite, but the disgusting taste just isn't worth it and I'm going to throw out the remainder of the box.
I have tried alot of things. I have no idea how these work but they do. I great break through I guess. No side effects!! Now if I can just behave myself I should do well.
