Sensa
Just sprinkle away your weight.
Sensa is an innovative additive that is sprinkled on your food in order to induce feelings of fullness so that you can take control over what you eat and lose weight. It was created around the scientific principle that our sense of taste and smell are inextricably linked to our satiety.
By sprinkling Sensa onto your food, the Sensa Tastants travel through your nose to nerve receptors. Your nerve receptors stimulate areas in the brain that are involved in satiety and trigger the release of hormones that suppress hunger and appetite. Sensa Tastants come in two flavors: salty and sweet. They are sprinkled on the foods you eat so that you will start to reduce your cravings and lose weight. Sensa Tastants are sodium-free, sugar-free, and calorie-free and they do not alter the taste of your food.
In one clinical study, the average weight loss was 30 pounds while using Sensa for six months.
- One large clinical study showed positive results while using Sensa Tastants
- May help to jumpstart a weight loss program
- Created by a medical doctor
- Creates satiety and feelings of fullness
- Not a long-term solution to weight loss
- Since it such a new product, long-term and immediate side effects can’t be proven
- Automatically-enrolled in the monthly auto-shipment program
- No specific dietary or fitness guidelines
Sensa contains Maltodextrin (Derived corn in the U.S.), Tricalcium Phosphate, Silica, Natural and Artificial Flavors, FD&C Yellow 5, and Carmine. Sensa also contains Soy and Milk ingredients.
Sensa is sprinkled all over the surface of your food just before eating it. The Tastants marked “Salty” are sprinkled on all foods that you would typically use salt and pepper or a savory seasoning for meat, fish, pasta, most vegetables and starches. The Tastants marked “Sweet” are sprinkled on sweet foods like fruit, pastries, desserts and cereal. The words “Salty” and “Sweet” do not mean that the actual Tastants contain salt and sugar, or that they will make your food taste salty or sweet – it’s just a way to describe the type of food to use it on.
Sensa should not be used on liquids or liquid foods like soup or stews.
There are no specific diet and exercise guidelines to follow while using Sensa other than to follow the instructions on the Sensa Tastant product label.
Sensa Tastants is a weight loss additive that uses technology and biology to help you eat less and lose weight. The patent for Sensa is still pending and it is not approved by the FDA.
As with any dietary supplement, talk to your medical doctor before taking this product. Since this product contains milk and soy, do not use this product if you have allergies to these foods. Do not use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or if you have any medical conditions.

(Page 1 of 4)I do not like this product your not supposed to be able to taste it on your food but I do it's just crushed up pills and I'm glad im shipping it back before hand so they do not charge me because I will get stupid.
I would like to add another comment.....I have a friend who also tried this supposed "free trial"....she recieved an e-mail telling her how to return her product. When I asked the company why I didn't get this e-mail, they said that the info was in the packing label. I had not kept the label once I recieved the product and checked to make sure what was in the box was what I had ordered. If you have already ordered your "not so free trial"...please keep the label. YOU HAVE TO REQEST THE E-MAIL TELLING YOU HOW TO RETURN THE PROUCT, you CANNOT just cancel. I have reported them to the Attorney General's office. I am sure I will have to pay the $89.95, but I hope this helps someone else.
I would like to warn anyone who tries this product...while some might have success with it both I and my girlfriend both started to gain weight. I canceled my plan less than 30 days after I started it. I have offered to return the product, but they will not accept it and have charged my account 89.95. There is NO SUCH THING as a "free months supply". Be very careful! If you do not cancel in less than 30 days from WHEN THEY SHIPPED IT you will be in the same predicament.
This is a scam and a fraudulent product!!
It seems to really work, Unlike Nutrisystem, weight watchers and other diets this product gives me a strong feeling of fullness. That's the real test of a successful diet.
Thank you everyone for posting, I was seriously about to try this, it looks so promising, but for your honest comments you have saved me a terrible time and a lot of money. Thankyou!
This is one of the biggest ripoffs and scams out there. The product doesn't work and they take your money to boot. What a shame!!!!!!!!.
This company has fraudulent and manipulative practices to make money. It isn't about having a product that will make someone lose weight....it is a marketing scam. Save money and just find some good snake oil.
You people have to watch out for "Free Samples", nothing is ever free, so always be cautious and READ THE FINE PRINTS, you have to because you dont know if your signing away your soul..lol..but really these diet promotions do this all the time...even Acai, everything with free trials are usually a scam to get you to buy more. READ before you give your money to the devil.
Sensa is FRAUD. First of all, it doesn't work. I tried it faithfully for three weeks with zero results - I think I even gained a pound or two.
Second, I called to cancel about three days after receiving my kit when I saw that it was a monthly billing thing. I HAVE A CANCELLATION CODE AND THEY STILL CHARGED ME. They are robber pirates and they are going to get a piece of my mind when their customer service center opens today!
I can't believe they would still charge me after I cancelled so promptly - SENSA IS A SCAM!
This is a scammer!I saw Oprah's program with Alan Hirsch and I liked it and bought his book-it was interesting concept. As for the product-Sensa-totallu bullshit!First of all, they charged my card more than promised, second, I don't have positive results! The doctor's image was changed. DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT.And legally they breach the contract, when they charge me more...
Please don't buy this product. It does't work. These people are scam artists. I sent off for the 30 day tria. It didn't work so l sent back the next month's that they had sent with the trial period. They kept the product and charged my credit card $89.95. What they did was against the law. They can't keep the product and the money. That's called double enrichment. Keep your money in your pocket. They are nothing but crooks. Stay away from them.
Thanks for the feedback. Helped me to decide. I'm going to continue with the extra long walk and the moderation in diet. No "SENSORY SALT SHAKER" for me!! Good to know that these sites are out here...keep it coming.
For all the idiots who don't read the fine print. Everything that says it is a free trial offer for 7 or 30 days, means its free for 7 or 30 days! The terms & conditions on every website (diet pills etc) says after the trial ends, you will be billed. Stop bitching about being decieved and wanting to sue, you will lose. Every website has a terms & conditions on the bottom of the page for a reason. Now Shut the up.
this is 100% pure crap. No customer service at all. they are looking for a quick buck at your expense!!!
this product sucked....i gained 3 lb the first 3 weeks! i want a refund. i will sue them. some of the ingredients was rat posion. i hate it DO NOT USE IT i repeat DO NOT USE IT!
Did it work for anyone?
Scam them like they scam you cancel credit card and try product that you ordered trial sample not 2 month supply. Sounds like another acci berry scam
Sensa offers a trial offer of their product for $9.95, which I signed up for. Then they charged $98.72 for that trial offer. When I complained that I never saw that they were going to charge additional money the lady at Sensa said they was a notice on the left side of the screen where I placed my credit card number. However, I never saw it. I said if they would have said that in the same place where they showed the $9.95 price I would not have ordered it. She said they put a note of the additional charge in she box that arrived at my office, but I never saw that either. Their marketing people have put the additional charge in places where people just don't look when they're placing orders online. And putting a notice inside the shipping box about there being an additional $98.72 charge is too late. I didn't find out about the $98.72 charge until another shipment and my credit card bill arrived. I am returning this box even though the Sensa lady warned me it could take 6 to 8 weeks to get a refund and that I would have to get a tracking number from the post office because they might lose my returned box. Sounds like there are a lot of other people returning Sensa, too.
I feel seriously defrauded by their offer of a free sample. Once they get your credit card they keep billing!!!!
This has been a nightmare. STAY AWARE. STAY AWAY.
I know I'm probably really ignorant for doing this, but I just ordered the Sensa 2-month free trial. That was before I read all these reviews. I'm regretting it severely right now because of all the problems people said they encountered with the automatic billing. I guess a lack of motivation at work right now led me not to read the fine print when I hit the "Bill Me" button. Definitely pay better attention! But, since what's done is done, I'll give this whole Sensa-thing a try, see how I like it...or even if it works. Hopefully, I'll have good news to report in a few months! Keep your fingers crossed for me!
