Akavar

Claims that you can eat all you want and still lose weight.

BACKGROUND Start the Diet Now Advertisement

Akavar 20/50 is a European weight loss pill that has achieved much success. It has made its move to the U.S. seeking the same. Akavar boasts that it is the ultimate fat cure and that you'll see the results you seek without any diet restrictions or inclusion of exercise.

Akavar is designed to restrict your daily caloric intake to less than normal. Without those calories that your body requires for energy, you'll start to use your fat reserves. This will of course cause you to lose weight and inches. However, you'll immediately gain back that weight should you stop using Akavar. The website offers little-to-know information about the product leaving open many questions about the supplement.

PRO
  • Promotes eating all you like and still seeing weight loss
  • Reduces urge to overeat
  • Do not have to count calories
  • Won't feel hungry
CON

Akavar 20/50 leaves a lot to be desired. Some of the more concerning details include:

  • Promotes a lifestyle without exercise and healthy diet
  • No FDA approval
  • Web site offers very little information
  • No published clinical research
  • Does not publish ingredients
  • Contains caffeine
INGREDIENTS

It takes a lot of research to find what is inside those little Akavar tablets, as the product's website bypasses any discussion. Akavar includes many caffeine sources including xanthine and green tea leaf. Other ingredients include yerba mate, guarana seed, ginger root, kola nut, Tibetan ginseng, cocoa nut, rice flour, yellow no. 6, red no. 3 and Gelatin, among many others.

CONCLUSION

Akavar 20/50 leaves a lot of open questions- which really leads to concerns about both the product's effectiveness and impact on the body. With so many diet pills and supplements on the market, it is important for manufacturers to paint a detailed picture of the product to help consumers make the most educated decisions. Many diet pills and supplements provide all of the information that Akavar seems to have conveniently left out. It is also a little misleading that without diet and exercise you can still lose weight. Anyone who has ever committed to losing weight knows that without important changes to diet and exercise, results are often not achieved.

Scary alert! Something very strange just happened. Be sure to take your Akavar with a FULL glass of water.

I took it with only a sip and then about 5 minutes later the weirdest thing happened. I had my mouth open, flossing my teeth, and suddenly it's like the pill exploded. Came up my throat and nose (rather painfully) and there was a puff of white powder that came out my mouth.

Needless to say I had a bit of a panic then chugged a bunch of water. I feel okay, but my throat is a bit sore now and the experience was unpleasant in general.

Anyway, I just started taking the Akavar yesterday. Am only taking one pill at decent intervals because I am concerned about the amount of caffeine (195MG / 2 capsules).

I haven't been hungry since I started taking it, but am also taking Hoodia (although I am less than confident in the purity of the Hoodia I purchased), and I am a coffee drinker.

I'll probably report back with a proper rating once I've been on it longer.

I lost weight with Akavar. I also combined it with Alli, and both helped me lose the weight I needed to lose.

Hi, I'm a 19 year-old living life to the fullest since I've been taking Akavar I've lost 17lbs in 4 weeks but I also used Redline Princess to help me burn calories and give me energy. The biggest surprise was I didn't exercise at all and I ate what I want , I know this might sound unture but its not because, this is first time in 2 years I've been under 200lbs. So I don;t kno if it works for you but it does for me.

I just started Akavar today and my appetite has decreased quite noticeably. Obviously everyone will see different results, if any at all. I just had an 8lb 7 1/4oz baby boy Oct. 8th, so I want to get back to my normal weight. I am 146lbs now and want to be 130 by April. That's when I'm tying the knot. I will keep ya posted on how it goes. Good luck everyone.

I have tried it several times and have had success with it. After taking it for a couple weeks, I kept waking up and just not eating. I wasn't hungry at all. It's such a relief, because normally, I'm constantly starving.

I started it this morning. I plan on taking one every morning for weekdays and one morning, one lunch one weekends. So far, it's almost lunchtime and normally I'm starving and so hungry I'm sick by now, but I'm barely hungry! It's wonderful! I only want to lose 10-20 pounds and I think I can with this product!

I didn't like the rush it gave my heart nor how tired I felt (my eyelids were so heavy) the first night. I reduced the dose to 2-3 a day and not before dinner so that I could have a normal evening. I haven't noticed weight loss but I am eating less.

I am a married woman with four growing boys that are ages 10 through 16 and I have a tendency to eat what they eat and my metablism is no where near as fast as theirs are. I started today and I feel excited about the product after reading all the reviews. I have 25-30lbs that I wish to loose and hope to loose at least half within the next three weeks because I am going on a vacation in the Carriabian on December 25 for a week and would like to look great in a bathing suit again. Wish be all the best and yes I have already changed my eating habits to a meal suppliment shakes, one for breakfast one at lunch with a small healthy lunch and another for dinner with a small dinner. I do hope with a change in eating habits, meal replacement shakes, healtghy small meal portions and Akavar-20/50 I will have great success. Thank you for your support.

i started akavar about three days ago. I eat pretty much healthy, I just have a sweet tooth which is my down fall. so far on the pill i feel less hungry and that even with my sweet tooth if i give into it i don't regret it the next day. i have also been using the slimming gel along with the pill and no matter what i eat i still feel skinny and not bloated. the only side effect i noticed since taking the pill is that i have a harder time getting to sleep. i'm not getting getters or anything like other pills have given me in the past. i just feel energized. I have cut the dose in half taking only 2 pills a day and i still feel i am getting great results.. i'll check back in in about a week or so though. hopefully it isn't acting a just a water pill. oh and i forgot. i suffer from anemia and when trying to eat lots of high iron food i get constipated. i noticed since talking the pills i am actually going to the restroom once a day on my own.....

Ben

I started taking Akavar 20/50 three weeks before Thanksgiving and am still on it today. To date, I have lost 13 pounds and still do not feel hungry in between meals and more importantly late at night. My cravings for excess sugar and salt have also been reduced to practically nil. Working through Thanksgiving as a baker and caterer would be disastrous to anyone, especially anyone concerned about losing weight. I firmly believe that the significant reduction in sugar cravings during the holiday kept me from gorging on the sweet things that had always posed such temptation before. I'm able to eat less, feel full, and not snack during the day. It works for me and I could not ask for more!
Also, to those complaining about the price, it is available at Sam's Club for $29.32 for a 90-capsule package; whether the sale was a problem in the computer system, I do not know, but two days ago I purchased two bottles of the "club" size for $14.62 a piece. If you can, get to Sam's Club! At just over sixteen cents a capsule, you'll never find a better price or a better time to try this product.
