I would just like to know if it works. All of the comments are about the charges. Can any tell me if you have had success or not? I used a prepaid Visa card because I have heard the horror stories of ordering products online. I am not worried abou the charges. I just received my bottle yesterday. I would appreciate anyones input.

posted Jan 8th, 2009 6:44 pmno problem
I just called and cancelled and I didn't have any issues at all... People were great and assured me there will be no extra charges.

This is a rip off. I like most of you apparently did not read the fine print. Because of this $9.95 charge and a few other charges from ordering my account went negative and I had 2 overdraft charges associated with this purchase. Below me is a comment that includes the numbers you can call to cancel all of the things you were "accidently" charged for. They will not refund previous charges but say they have canceled your "membership" so let's hope that really is the case. BEWARE OF THIS SCAM!

People this is a true scam. If you placed an order as I did - Please call your bank and cancel your credit card. I tried and tried to cancel the charges and they would not. I was still being charged the $59.95 and I could never get the other two books people on the line to cancel that so I just had my credit card cancelled and another one issued. Please don't do this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's what I discovered today after checking out the acaiburn website:
posted Jan 6th, 2009 5:37 pmWhen you place your order for the free trial, you receive a confirmation receipt in your email. It looks like a typical invoice, but at the very bottom, it reads: Order Information.
Beneath this lists two other websites that have a username and password attached.
I called acaiburn to cancel my order, and told the representative that my daughter had taken my information and placed it. There was no wait to get through to acaiburn. She was pleasant, and I immediately received the refund confirmation. Then, she asked me if there was anything else on my receipt and directed my attention to the bottom (as I mentioned before.) She then provided the numbers for each of these companies.
The first company was "Comprehensive Weight Loss E-book Package" which was indeed going to charge my card $9.95. Their number is 1-800-989-5907.
The second company was "Insidersecrets.com" which was a 15 minute hold, followed by a friendly rep who cancelled the charges (also 9.95/month) after I explained my "story." Their number is 866-363-0187.
Had I not cancelled this acaiburn order, or the others---which I was not expecting, this would have conservatively been a $4.95 transaction turned into $25.00...
Now, we all must be accountable for reading the fine print, and I understand that. However, this acaiburn site is very misleading, and no doubt many consumers will find themselves in a jam if they sign up for their "free two week trial."

I reviewed this products ad page..and was shocked to find out that even if a person wants to loose a dangerous amount of weight..or wants to lose weight when they are already too skinny, the site does not stop them from ordering. They do have one small warning..but that is AFTER they tell you that you only have 3:15 to finish filling out the form..making it impossible to finish reading everything. I did a blog on it...

This thing is a scam! Good luck if you try to cancel, you have to send the unused portion back insured and track the package... I just sent mine back today and I'm hoping they refund my money. This is just another one of those companies trying to make money off of desperate people.

this product is terrible! one of my friends ordered it, so I went online to check it out the next day and thought I'd go in with her to do it together, to help each other lose weight and stay on track.
posted Jan 5th, 2009 11:10 pmthen, there was a little slip on the webpage. One of the many places where they repeat and repeat the same phrases to get you revved up and excited to buy, the text says this:
" Your Wu-Yi Tea will help you fuel your engine and get you to your goal weight without compromising your energy or good nutrition."
WHAT? these are the same scam artists who were jumping on the WU-YI tea crazy just about a year or so ago, and unfortunately, I feel for them back then.
They display a number for you to call, but then
~ they divert you to several other numbers,
~ tell you your order(s) are cancelled or
~ say that your refund is coming, and you never get it.
~ Keep sending out new orders,
~ take more of your money automatically
~tell you there's no record of your call
~say the computer is down
~say the manager is gone for the day
You will finally think it's handled, but then you'll get another bill!
the only way to end this nightmare is to involve your bank, who will have to have proof of your many attempts to stop the billing.
THIS IS A NIGHTMARE SCAM!!!
don't fall for it!!!!

pure scam! web trial period charged me 4.95, another 9.96 membership fee, I learned from calling the toll free#,that I have to pay every month, yes every month, trial bottle contained 60 tablets, but got charged thur my debit card a whopping 59.95,2 days later after I received that so called 14 day trial! What a pure scam! 4.95+9.95+59.95 for 60 tabs is pure " highway robberry"...I have cancelled all these transactions w/ my bank.People who got scam...you have to cancell all 3 charges or else you will get charged all these monies every month.....this is a pure fact,,,,make sure you look at all these hidden charges!

I would like to try this but I ordered the hoodiaphen recommended by Opra and tried to cancel 2 days into the 15 day supply was sent and could not cancel, get anyone live to cancel, sent 3 emails to cancel, called Discover card and they ended up carging me the 65.00 and said it was legitemenjt and did their investigation and carged me back the 65.00. I never did get my money back since May 2008. I would not trust any of these companies and the internet offers because once they get your debit/credeit card info it seems impossible to stop them from charging your account and the extra little charges as well that they hid in the fine print or don;t tell you about when they stick it to you with some sister company they are associated with and that you have to contact them to cancel that portion of it when you didn't know you even signed up for it in the first place. I t6hink the gov't needs to step in and stop this scamming.

i sure wish i would have seen this page of unsatified customers before i ordered it and 2 make things worst i ordered it on my daughters credit card and said the next day ill cancel cause i only wanted the 4.95 sample and when i called to cancel the lady was like i cant cancel just use it for 14 days then send it back im trying to tell her i just put it in yesterday nite (it was the next morning)and she was not letting me cancel she just kept saying the same thing so my daughter told me they took out 6.95 and what i did when i got it i took two weeks worth of pills out (for my 6.95 ) and sent that (con artist stuff ) junk right back and the worst part about it is the beginning of the website have the nerve to say all the other companies try to get you to pay the shipping and handling and then end up charging you full price and they do the exact same thang so i hope this 14 days do something ......people

The trial is definitely not free. If you are interested in trying the product, try eBay. They usually run cheaper than the website. Personally I would try a health food store. I'm sure it's worth trying the acai berry. I've heard a lot of good things about the actual fruit, just not the companies.

Insider Secrets is a monthly billing; you need to call 1-866-363-0187 to stop this billing; ACAI Berry can be reached at 1-800-659-3588 and is billed 2 weeks after the "free" trial offer.
