This was the most despiteful scam I have ever been a victim of. First, they told me they were moving to the "other" center, and then they totally dissapeared without leaving a number to call to claim the BOXES of lites that I had previously bought!! I can't believe how good they are to make you trust you and then do this!! If somebody knows what I can do to get my money back, please let me know!!! (the system was working for me, which hurts me the most, I believed in them, you know?). I'll settle for the bars too, as long as I don't feel like I was robbed.
I also went lost a lot of weight on the program, but when the center closed I was back to my old ways of eating. I was left with so much bars that I haven't even began to think about eating them. The support is really necessary and I'm very sorry that LA Weight Loss didn't stay in my area.
I lost the weight, 24 lbs in about 14 weeks. The program was too expensive. After you lose the weight, you must stay on the program to maintain. I have gained back the 24 lbs, plus about 5 more. Can't afford another diet program.
I did the LA Weight Loss Diet and lost the weight that I wanted and kept it off. LA Weight Loss closed and moved out of my area. I an beginning to gain the weight back. Now that I can order the LA Bars online, I would like a copy of the food guide so that I can get back to my goal weight and keep it there.
I did La back in 1999 and it worked very good. I lost 69lbs. However I have gained it all back , no fault of LA and I would like to start again. I need the food guide because i can remember how it works and I can order the bars and juice online.

i found a website that sells the same bars as the la weight loss. they say it is made by the same manufacturer as the la weight loss bars. it also has the same nutrition and ingredients ( very similar, I think) . I ordered from them and they taste the same. The website is . If any one has more info please post. Thanx

I joined LA weight loss in Ottawa and lost over 90 lbs, it was easy to follow, inexpensive and the support of the staff was invaluable, I developed a wonderful relationship with them, and was mad when they lost their franchise

I lost 20 pounds on LA Weightloss, and have moved to a city where the center has closed. I remember the basics of the plan, but have misplaced the dining out guide and all other literature. Any suggestions as to bars that can be found at the grocery store?
Loved the straightforward diet plan, which is not terribly different than the other sensible weight loss program, Weight Watchers. I like that I could drop in and meet for a few minutes, not tied to a specific time for a full hour or more. My only problem was the turnover at the center - the manager couldn't keep counselors there. So I just ignored that and stuck to it and got through it.
I've tried every weight loss plan basically known to man! LA is the only one that has actually worked for me. I'm a "sweets-aholic". I've done the plan two times and results are fantastic. Actually doing it again! You won't be disappointed!
I have countrymom well on her way.....is there anyone else that I can help, i have emailed everyone I could on this list that asked for it.....I haven't heard back from anyone else.....

Mark and to all else who are wondering about the LAWL bars.....Kellogs MEAL bars not snack bars offer the same nutritional value, but with 2 added grams of protein but who would complain?? does anyone know if the la bars are still available for purchase somewhere?
I did the diet a few years ago, stopped for a while and now would like to get back into it. the center near my home closed down last year.
