Metabolife offers a variety of products now containing new ingredients that still claim to control your appetite, burn fat and lose weight.
The Metabolife website has a modest list of recipes. The site also has articles on nutrition.
The Metabolife website has a small list of exercise articles.
While the Metabolife product has lived a controversial story, the plan still boasts being the answer to control your appetite, burn fat and lose weight. The FDA does not support these promises by Metabolife.

(Page 3 of 3)i took this for 1 day and lost 100 pounds. then the next day i stopped taking it and gained 200 pounds. i must say this stuff sucks
I only take 2 at the most at the day. I could never do as it says on the directions. I love Metabolife. It gives me much-needed energy. I run almost every day but I still need the Metabolife because I am a heavy eater. .
i dont like it
Im 18 and just started using Metabolife ultra a few days ago, but i dont work out at all and i eat whatever i want but the pill is supposed to curb the appetite so i figured its not that much calorie intake. I just want to know, all of these success stories did all of you who lost the weight work out? because i will if thats what it takes. I just want to lose 10 pounds.
I took Metabolife when it first came out in 2000 and lost over 50 pounds, I maintained that weight for a long time but recently I have gained 20 of it back, so I am looking to start the system again. I have had no real side effects that I know of, but with the new formula I am interested to see what happens and see if the results are the same. When going into these ventures I think it is import to note that healthy eating and exercising is the only sure fire way to lose and keep the weight off. Changing life habits is the best bet. I am hoping this will help me kick start my weight lose and encourage me to return to the habits the pills originally instilled in me (eating less). I wish everyone the best of luck in however you chose to take off the weight.
I took Metabolife when it first came out and I lost 20 pounds in 8 weeks. But due to the large amounts of caffeine used in it, it dried me out so badly that it damaged my voice and I am singer. So I stopped taking it and gained every pound back and some more. I am working out now and it is working with no horrible side effects.
I took metabolife a few years ago and I lost over 30 pounds. I felt so good and had tons of energy. I stoped taking it and yes I gaind the weight back and then some. I have a little high blood pressure so I will try the caffine free formula. I pray it works. This time when I loose the weight I will continue to eat healthy and work out a couple times a week.
I just started taking MetaboLife a few days ago. I've noticed it does curb my appitite. I had a baby almost 6 mons ago, and am having a VERY hard time losing the weight. I'm hoping & praying this works! I'll let you all know in a few months!
I have tried several products from Exenadrine, Zantrex III, Ephedra, and Hydroxycut (Hope i spelled them right!) over the past 3-5 years, and so far Metabolife Ultra is the most mild i have used, i am not over weight and and exersize on a regualr basis and take energy pills more for a boost when i need it so on average maybe 5-7 pills per week, any kind of stimulant you take will accelerate your heart rate and increase your blood pressure because that is what it is designed to do to a certain degree, almost all energy pills have heavy doses of caffeen sp if you are taking stimulants make sure you are just listening to your body, the goal in most cases is to maintain that "warm" feeling between exercising which is your metabolism working overtime and your heart rate speed staying at an increased level, if you take something like this and just stop suddenly you are removing that "edge" so you will not maintain the same level of calorie burn so it should be no surprise if it is harder to keep the weight off, these pills are for support, not permanant, but out of anything i ahve taken so far Metabolife Ultra is overall the most effective and easy on the body for your money.
I have been taking this product for 7 + years. Its the only product that has kept me at a healthy weight and allowed me to have the energy to be active. It has never affected my sleep pattern either. I think its a great diet pill. However, I would caution anyone who already has high blood pressure or anxiety not to take it. May not be the one for you so, I would try the caffiene free version. I have never stopped taking it and whether that is good for my health I do not know. But just like exercise when you stop, you gain weight. So, I look at the pill the same way. What works for me, I try to stay with.
I use to take metabolife back when it started in 2000...I was only 18 at that time. It really worked for me, but when i stop taking it for 3 months i gain my ugly pounds again. I had some side effects and stopped for awhile. I tried it again last year in summer of 2007, for 1 month but I had to stop because of my boyfriend. I am willing to try it again this year because it's so hard for me to lose weight and to helped me control my eating habits. I'm a full time med college student, I don't really have that much time. I've tried diet/exercise and it didn't really helped that much cuz I'm always studying. I'm half chinese and spanish, So we eat a lot of rice!!!...
December 2007, i took it the last 6 months and ave lost 40 lbs. I like it very much though...
Metabolife tastes disgusting! Like raw fish... It made me want to throw up every time. I had to hold my nose as to not taste it. I lasted 2 days on the pill. No more for me! It's not worth it. It made me feel like crap. Diet and exercise are the way to go.
I took Metabolife for about 9 months and lost 70 lbs. BUT...I ended up with high blood pressure and as soon as I quit taking this product, I gained back all the weight-plus more, and I was being careful. I now believe that diet and exercise are the only safe and healthy ways to lose weight.
I found Metabolife to be very good I took a few years back I went from a size 14 to a size 5/6. My personal experience it was very good. I do notice though I did gain my weight back AFTER I changed my eating habbits again and stopped being as active as I was. So essentially due to my very own lifestyle change I gained the weight this is the same as diet and exercise one can not expect to keep the weight off or continue losing if their slowly going back to their old habbits. Overall, I'd say it's one of the very few diet pills I am going to try again. I've recently bought ALLy and I am very disappointed. All it did was allow me to release fats through bowel movement but I saw no overall improvement in weight loss. I am new mother trying to get back into shape. I work out etc. So for the women out there looking for a great diet pill try Metabolife.
i took it for like 3 months and lost 40 lbs.once i stopped exsersing it slowly came back.
When I learned this product was originally created to help with tiredness from chemotherapy, I started using Metabolife ultra 5 years ago for energy because of anemia. No side effects. Doesn't affect my blood pressure. Weight loss is a benefit but that's not what I take it for.
I TOOK THIS PRODUCT FOR ABOUT A FEW MONTHS IT WORKED OUT GREAT I STOPPED TAKING IT I GAINED SOME WEIGHT BACK SO I STATED AGAIN TO TAKE THEM AND THAT'S WHEN I STATED FEELING SICK NERVES, EXREAMLY ACTIVE, AND RAPID HEART BEAT. SO THAT'S WHY I STOPPED EXERCISE IS THE WAY TO I'M NOT GOING TO RISK MY HEALTH ANYMORE.
