About Me:

Mother of 2 awesome boys, 16 & 6. Married for almost 12 years. I love to run (even though I only shuffle but at least I am doing it!!)

The goals I'm working toward:

  • run a 5k with out stopping to walk
  • lose 20 lbs but the end of the year
  • stop snacking!

I haven't felt comfortable with my weight since:

I haven't felt comfortable with my weight since after having my first son 16 years ago. I have Thyroid condition and it really stinks that its not working for me as I am working to lose the weight. extremely frustrating!!!

My favorite healthy food:

red pepper hummus, green giant frozen broccoli & cheddar, egg whites omelet with feta and tomatoes.

My guiltiest pleasure:

anything chocolate and sweet. and Love starbucks toasted coconut frapp

I'm inspired to live a healthy life because:

to feel better about myself so that I can make my family feel better! and I want to have my husband desire me forever! :D

Healthy habits that work for me:

  • Working out at least 4 days
  • tried and loved yoga
  • drinking lots of water

My favorite activity at the gym is:

Yoga, cardio step class, and working out with good people!

The accomplishments I'm most proud of:

  • 1 class away from my BA degree
  • did my first 5k
