Jillian Michaels (born 18 February, 1974) is a fitness expert who gained prominence as a trainer on the NBC weight-loss reality series ''The Biggest Loser'' (USA). Michaels was the trainer for the red team until 2006, when she was replaced by Kim Lyons. She returned in 2007 as the black team coach, competing against Kim's red team and Bob Harper's blue team. Kim decided not to return for the spring 2008 season, leaving Jillian as the only female trainer. Along with Bob Harper, Jillian is also a trainer in the Australian version of the show. She began her career in exercise because she was considerably overweight before her teenage years (though not as much as the contestants she whips into shape now). As a young adult, her mother enrolled her in a martial arts class, which was a new beginning for Jillian. Thereafter she dedicated herself to helping the overweight transform their lives and their bodies for the better.

I love watching the show. I have been watching it but, my kids just started. They try to get me to excersise, now. I dont though. I know i need to. Jillian you are the #1 tranier!!

I'm a big fan of Kims. I think her methods and motivation skills are soooooo much better than Jillians. All jillian cares about is winning and not the long term effects of these programs. Shame shame.

Like a lot of other people who have written in my husbaand and I don't have very much income. In fact there are times when we have to go to the Salvation Army for food. They don't have "diet" food. You take what you can get. I personally need someone like Jillian who is tough and stern. I'm very low on will power. I'd love to go on the show,so why don't the producers do a show for us older folks who really have a lot to live for.

I am over wieght and I have 3 daughters one of them being only 10 years old and weighing 175 pounds. What can I do for her? She cries all the time asking me to help her and I don't know what to do for her. My other girls are slender. Please help us.

Julian I myself need help i'm about to be 34yrs old and i weight 260 and i have 2 kids.. I been watching ur show since it had started i been telling my friends and my sister that i need to get on that show How can i sign up and be on ur team. I like a person like you to kick butt and myself needs help. I need to move around with my kids do things. it seen when i start working out then i stop i need a person like u to help me..SO PLEASE I NEED HELP.
