FOOD and RECIPES
One thing you'll never say with the Biggest Loser Meal Plan is "I'm bored!" The Biggest Loser and Bistro M.D. chefs keep it fresh by continually updating the menu. Just like the Biggest Loser contestants- your meals will cut the fat, reduce calories, include little-to-no sugar and feature plenty of lean protein sources like turkey, fish and seafood, and chicken, as well as fruits and vegetables. Mark Kruger says "It is all incredibly tasty and well put together. I love the fact that the nutrition information is with the package and easy to read. Because of that I know exactly where my calories are with every meal."
The meal plan was designed with the dietary needs of Diabetics in mind, although they do encourage you to check with your physician before changing meal plans. There are few options available for vegetarians- but it can be done. They'll simply replace the meat-concentrated meals with vegetarian-friendly, although the choices are limited. There is no opportunity for customized menus; however, if you do not eat seafood, you can request those meals be replaced with a different protein.
The meals will arrive in vacuum-sealed containers, inside of a cooler packed with dry ice. The meals are frozen on delivery, all you have to do is heat and serve.
A glimpse of some of the meals you can look forward to enjoying are:

suzyq: Has anyone tried the Biggest Loser meal delivery plan? Is the food good?
saddy: The Biggest Loser Meal plan is done by BistroMD and the food is probably the best out of the big names (Nutrisystem and Medifast) I have tried all three.
Caroline: I agree w/ Saddy- I've used Bistro MD before and the food is phenomenal! Yo'll love it. W/ the added bonus that it's designed by Biggest Loser!

Michele: My husband and I have been losing weight together for 6 months. Bistro MD has helped us break through our plateau. It has also cut down on the time I spent shopping for, preparing and cooking dinner. The food is delicious and portioned perfectly. My children have now started to ask for their own meals too.
tracie: Does it work for the money
allison: I've been on Bistro MD for 2 weeks and lost 8 lbs with minimal exercise (due to busy schedule). The first 3 days were tough just because I was used to eating so much. After the first 5 days I felt "cleaner". It sounds funny but my body felt better and healthier...therefore a cleaner feeling. It sound odd, I know. The food I really really good, I have had different meals for the past 2 weeks, PLUS you get one day a week to eat a meal of your choosing so you don't feel completely deprived of dining out.
Susan: I am getting ready to start the meal plan tomorrow, but was a little disappointed with the info that came in the box, which was basically nothing. Are we supposed to eat only the three meals or are we supposed to include healthy snacks, as well? I feel a bit lost...help?! Thanks!
Robert: Bistro MD is awful. The food is not as good as what you can make at home. Save your money - eat a low cal tasty diet at home where you pick your own menu and save your dollars for a new wardrobe.
Claire: There is a better meal plan for people that are physically active called Frozen Fitness. They even have a meal plan for athletes that want to gain lean muscle mass...my son is a personal trainer and athlete and he does sales with them and he loves it. I'm vegetarian, so I cook myself, but I hear they will be doing vegetarian soon too. Check it out, Frozen Fitness
Maggie: Susan - I added the cals up of the 3 daily meals and it came to 850 per day. So I added 1 glass of milk, 2 fruit and a small salad and that gets me to where I need to be at around 1,400 daily.
kelly: i am a little frustrated because i ordered my food a week ago and still do not have it. i was really looking forward to getting started but i guess i will have to keep waiting. how long does it take to get your food?
