The goals I'm working toward:
- remain cancer-free. (Losing weight should help)
- lose 50 more pounds
- be able to run a half-marathon
I haven't felt comfortable with my weight since:
grade school
My favorite healthy food:
baby carrots
apples
My guiltiest pleasure:
cookies
cake
anything sweet!
I'm inspired to live a healthy life because:
When I was diagnosed with cancer, I was told that obesity can lead to breast cancer. (Fine time to find out!) Since then I have lost 95 pounds. My mantra - Chemo Sucks! I never want to have to do that again!
Healthy habits that work for me:
- Boot Camp classes
- my new personal trainer!
- treadmill
- write down what I eat
- wait 30 minutes before "breaking down" on the diet - the urge might pass
My favorite activity at the gym is:
crunches
less press
bench presses
treadmill
yoga
acccomplishing anything new
The accomplishments I'm most proud of:
- my children
- joining Mensa
- surviving cancer (others call me a role model)
