Going to school in San Francisco, CA

The goals I'm working toward:

  • Make it under 200 pounds by my 21st birthday (August 25th)
  • Run a half marathon in May 2012
  • Turning my weight loss motivation into a full-fledged habit & healthy lifestyle

I haven't felt comfortable with my weight since:

EVER. I've been overweight since I was a kid. I've never known what it feels like to be fit.

My favorite healthy food:

Yogurt parfait with granola and fruit

My guiltiest pleasure:

French fries (thankfully they make healthier frozen fries you can bake at home!)

I'm inspired to live a healthy life because:

I'm young, in my 20s, and have never been healthy before. It's time for a change. I want to be a better me and inspire those around me. I have a long life ahead of me and I intend to live it to it's full capability!

Healthy habits that work for me:

  • Going to the gym 5-6 days a week
  • Stop eating after 10pm
  • Incorporating fruits and/or veggies into every snack/meal

My favorite activity at the gym is:

Running on the treadmill - gotta train for that half!

The accomplishments I'm most proud of:

  • Getting into college and receiving a lot of scholarship money
  • Maintaining good grades & a social life all while embarking on this health journey
  • Committing to this health journey
