The goals I'm working toward:

  • Eating more vegetables/fruit & less non-healthy food.
  • I want to ultimately lose 50 pounds.
  • I need to exercise.

I haven't felt comfortable with my weight since:

my grandfather made comments about my weight saying I was growing in the wrong direction, etc, since I was pretty young. Not sure how old I was exactly.

My favorite healthy food:

My favorite healthy food is applesauce w/cinnamon (no sugar added). I also like salads occasionally. I like Chobani Greek Yogurt.

My guiltiest pleasure:

Hmm...

I'm inspired to live a healthy life because:

I want to be healthy and not have diabetes be a problem. I want to live a long life. I want to buy clothes in any store and be able to find something fashionable.

Healthy habits that work for me:

  • I have a bobble water filter bottle.
  • I don't buy soda, working on 100% exclusion. I hardly drink it now, but have it maybe once a month, sometimes less.
  • I bought a dog, She's gotta get walked, so it will get me moving.

My favorite activity at the gym is:

Gym? What's that?

The accomplishments I'm most proud of:

  • I have a great marriage, great communication. I've learned a lot from my hubby.
  • I'm almost done getting my BS in Mental Health & Human Services.
