About Me:

I got sick, had three operations, was diagnosed with fibromyalgia all within a year and a half.

I gained a substantial amount of weight ~ 123 lbs. to 197 lbs. I've never really had to diet, so I've had a rough time trying to loose this weight. Exercise has been difficult due to the fibromyalgia. I tried Jenny Craig and lost 40 lbs. Now, I am on the Smart for Like Cookie diet, and I am hoping to loose 30 lbs more to achieve my goal weight of 130 lbs.

The goals I'm working toward:

  • Exercising on a daily basis.
  • Losing 30 lbs.
  • Reducing my pain medication.

I haven't felt comfortable with my weight since:

I got sick and started gaining approx. 6 to 8 lbs. a month. Doctor's never knew why, but thought it had to do with insomnia, and fibromyalgia.

My favorite healthy food:

Veggies, strawberries, apples, protein bars, yogurt and low fat granola, watermelon. Am I kidding myself?

My guiltiest pleasure:

Brownies w/ Icing, cake with icing, any kind of sweets I can get my hands on.
