I'm a SAHM with two children. I am devoted to living healthy, especially the Leanness Lifestyle way. The result is that I've kept off 40 pounds for nearly eight years and have completed five half marathons.
The goals I'm working toward:
- Maintaining a healthy weight, lifestyle, and outlook on life!
I haven't felt comfortable with my weight since:
For a long time I thought I was suppose to be overweight. Then I became a student of David Greenwalt's and I realized I am in control of my own weight.
My favorite healthy food:
Chicken prepared pretty much anyway (except fried)
Fresh fruit salad is a weakness
I haven't met a radish, carrot, or broccoli I didn't like!
My guiltiest pleasure:
Getting pedicures in the summer!
I'm inspired to live a healthy life because:
I want to travel with my husband when the kidlets leave the nest...and that's going to be a while!
Healthy habits that work for me:
- Cutting out sugar and artificial sweeteners
My favorite activity at the gym is:
Running and lifting weights
The accomplishments I'm most proud of:
- My marriage
- My children
- Completing my last half marathon in less than 2 hours!
