Jillian Michaels Quickstart

A diet pill weight loss formula from this Biggest Loser trainer.

BACKGROUND Start the Diet Now Advertisement

Books, DVDs, an online program, reality television show and now you can add diet supplements to the Jillian Michaels empire.

Her Quickstart Rapid Weight Loss System is a two-supplement program that features Maximum Strength Calorie Control and the Maximum Strength Fat Burner, which are designed to suppress your appetite and facilitate the fat-burning process.

Taken together these two supplements, which contain an array of herbal extracts, natural stimulants and amino acids are supposed to help assist you along your weight loss journey.

PRO
  • May help to temporarily assist in weight loss
  • Created by a respected name in the health and fitness industry
CON
  • May cause side effects
  • Not a solution to sustainable weight loss
  • Goes against much of Jillian Michaels' diet guidance and philosophy on how to lose weight
INGREDIENTS

The Maximum Strength Calorie Control contains yerba mate, coffee bean extract, guarana, cocoa extract, l-glutamine, l-tyrosine, damiana, ginger, white willow bark.

The Maximum Strength Fat Burner contains CLA, grapefruit extract, bitter orange extract, blood orange extract, sweet orange extract, coleus forskohlii, tribulus terrestis.

ADMINISTRATION

Two capsules of the Calorie Control supplement are taken before each meal and two capsules of the Fat Burner are taken daily.

DIET and EXERCISE

Even though Jillian Michaels has created an entire portal of diet books and fitness DVDs, her Quickstart Rapid Weight Loss System does not come with any specific diet or exercise guidelines.

CONCLUSION

Diet pills are never an answer to weight loss and no one should know this better than diet guru Jillian Michaels. The launch of her own diet supplement system therefore comes as a bit of a disappointment to those who eschew pill popping for the tried-and-true regimen of diet and exercise in order to lose weight.

Her Quickstart Rapid Weight Loss System might confuse her devoted followers and send the wrong message to anyone looking to lose weight the old-fashioned but proven way.

However, if you are interested in using Jillian Michaels Quickstart weight loss pills, then speak with your doctor before beginning.

Well I have made it through the detox and cleanse week and am now starting day one of the fat burner and probiotic. Starting off I was a bit skeptical but so far I have had wonderful results. Days 1 and 2 I had some mild cramping which subsided after 15-20 minutes. After day 2 i had no cramping to speak of. Going in to day 1 of the second week I can proudly say that I have lost 9 lbs. I have many more to go so I am hoping that the pills combine with a diet and exercise overhaul will be just what I need to get me where I need to be.

I had to stop taking this halfway through due to severe cramps and bloating. I am not sure if the Probiotic or the Fat Burner, but research that I did shows this is a common side effect of the Probiotic. Too bad, I too am a fan of Jillian and guess this was a financial partnership as this seems to be a departure to her philosophy.

I recently purchased the pack that has the cleanse and the 7 day fat burn. So far, I like the product.
A year ago I was diagnosed with a thyroid condition. I was 33 at the time and had never considered myself overweight. In 5 months however, I gained 30 lbs!!!!
I bought this pack because I have felt bloated for months and have been frustrated that the thyroid meds have done nothing for me. Almost felt like I needed some sort of detox.
Well, I have one day left of the cleanse and so far I have noticed a huge change in terms of bloating. I have been working out every other day for 2 weeks doing an hour of highimpact cardio and I have been drinking 10 glasses of water. Other than that, I am eating as I normally do.
So far, I have lost 4 lbs. Not a ton of weight, but it is a start! I have NOT had an cramping, jitters, or unusual feelings at all.
I can't wait to start the fat burn tomorrow and pray that it works!

The cleanse did a great job with reducing the amount of bloating in the body. I have ate the same (although I know better) and the water weight has reduced drastically. My weight is the same but I do feel better and more enegetic. Cant wait to try the fat burn.

i've been using the fat burning pills for about 5 days and have already seen good results. i've realized i can be satisified with less each meal, and i still do my regular walking for a total of 2 hours each day. these pills havent caused any side effects for me, just made me feel like i can actually lose this baby fat from being bedrested my whole pregnancy. in 5 days i have already lost 5 pounds. before i started taking these i was exercising and eating healthy, but felt like i havent lost any weight in the 5 month i've had my son. so the results so far are good for me.. however, it does say that it doesnt work for everybody, so those people that it didnt work for shouldnt discourage others from trying, sometime it's just the kickstart some people need. i dont plan on using them past my goal weight, i'm sure i can manage to maintain my weight once i'm there, sometimes it's just to hard to get there on your own.

On her television show, the Biggest Loser, Jillian Michaels repeatedly argues that diet and hard work are the only healthy ways to lose weight. Now she has attached her name to a weight loss pill? You can read more about Jillian Michaels and her weight loss pill at . My name is Andrew, and I am an attorney in Houston, Texas.

I have not tried the Jillian Roberts program yet, but I must say that I have tried drink supplements and mega T. My weight is low enough that using supplements to lose as much as some on here have stated would leave me in the highly ill category, however if they decrease appetite, etc, they would probably be good for maintaining your new weight/lifestyle once you have lost it. I do the Celsius whenever I eat too much in a day and it works great, overnight. I am sure the quick detox/fatburning formula by Jillian would work similar, so it's great for allowing you to enjoy holiday festivities. It may be worth a try :)

I bought the cleanse set that came with a free trail of the fat burn. The cleanse was gentle and did not make me feel sick or crampy at all. Love the Fat Burn Supplements because they reduce my cravings therefore I find myself being able to go between meals without snacks. It also decreases my desire for junk. I have altered my complete diet to increase raw produce, reduce processed food, and cook with organic or natural food elements. I walk on my lunch break for 45 minutes and then jog 30-45 minutes in the evening every other day. I have lost 6 lbs in the last 2 weeks since beginning this regimine. I agree with the others that this is not a cure-all pill but more of an assistance along with a healthier lifestyle. I have not experienced and headaches or jitteriness or any other side affects from this product other than a great reduction in cravings. I would highly recommend this product to others.

I am in the process of trying Jillian Michaels' Jump Start Program. Someone I met at CVS said it worked. I am not overweight per say, but I am trying desperately to shed that last 8-10lbs of post-baby fat. I'm BIG ENOUGH standing at 6 feet tall flat footed, so I really want to loose this weight!! I'm fairly active but I am the same weight as when my daughter turned one. At 40 yrs. old this extra weight feels like it's here to stay and I hate that!

The Jillian Michaels formula has produced ZERO change in 10 days so far. My new iPhone app called MY FITNESS PAL (free) has helped me to easily track exactly what I put into my mouth and its fun to see when I have "earned" calories based on my activity for the day. That has actually helped the most thus far. Wish me luck! Lipo is next!

tried for the first time this morning at 6am with a full glass of water. About and hour after I took the 2 pills a slight headache began, it's now 12:30 pm and the headache is unbearable. I don't dare take my next two at 1 pm. In fear my headache will never go away. So much for that, I will just continue to excercise and diet , the old fashion way

I really liked this. I lost weight but I was also dieting and exercising. My bloating went down, I felt less hungry, and I felt amazing. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Well i will speak for all the diet pill out there. Before i had kids i was 18 years old i had some dissapointment in my weight.I decided to go with diet pills, when i took them i couldnt stop taking it,i got addicted to it,i started to have kidney infection i was nautious i was weak i started to lose weight fast but i was weak to exercise.I met my husband and decided to stop the pills it wasnt easy but i did it.I got pregnant gained pretty alot of weight but had kidney infection and it really affected my pregnancy and dangered my baby.I got scoliozes(Crookied spine ) that was the worst, especially when i recovered the pregnancy. If i had done diffrent before i was pregnant maybe i would of have no infection and i would gain strenght after pregnancy. So my challenge was to go old way eat healthy drink alot of water and workout, but didnt get the chance to do it because i got pregnant again.:)After second pregnancy i didnt wait i went straight to workouts,as it was my routine, evry morning and at night,i took it slow 20 min morning and 20 min at night. Then a month later i progressed later with 45 min morning 20 min at night.I made great healthy meals, garlic is great for you,so use it it in meals.I was thinking about pills of course but then i read Jillian Michaels book where she said to drink coffee before you workout and alot of water thats what they put in the pills.I feel great my back dont hurt i gain muscles my husband is jelouse i lost my baby belly and my husband still has it lol.I feel energized i can pick up my kids and run around with them, they get tierd first before i do.I am 26 now i didnt feel any better in my life like i do now.Just go and get jillian dvd they are great start for people to lose the wight.Good luck to all and stay healthy think about organic products as well.

Sugar Junkie

My experience: Use Calorie Control and Fat Burner together for best results. You will FEEL more energy due to the caffeine, which is good if you are tiered and sluggish as it will give you the energy to exercise. But take the opportunity to actually do the exercise, don't just sit on the couch - help yourself, the supplements won't do it for you, but they will provide the right formula to get it done.

Calorie control pills will make you feel full faster, and you will eat less at meal time. You will feel nauseous when eating 'junk' type foods (which isn't a bad thing as these types of food do nothing for you anyway). When you eat fruits, vegetables, proteins, you feel fine. This is excellent for people who have no problem doing exercising and eating the right meals, but who have a weak spot for snacking and junk food. Love it and it prevents me from making a bad food decision - I would compare it to classical conditioning for people who don't have the right amount of will power.

Seriously, this thing should be forbidden and removed from the market. Is Jillian trying to kill people? Just 2 pills of these fat burner cause me painful cramps all over. I cannot walk, I can hardly breath. All my movements are painful. This is not safe at all.

I bought this product because Jillian's name is on it, I figured since she is a tough personal trainer and popular I thought they would be great. I was exercising minimum 45 minutes a day for 6 days while taking the fat burner, it worked for the first 2 weeks I lost 5 pounds. But when I ran out and stopped using it, I was left with this huge headache that lasted about a week, it might be because of the caffeine. Overall, I have a hard time keeping up with my exercises, but I think its to expensive for what it does. If you stick to a routine of exercise, you will loose weight, the more you exercise, the less you get hungry, you don't need pills to loose weight, just keep in mind that once you stop taking the pills you will gain the weight back. So don't assume that the weight you will loose is permanent.
