The Eat-Clean Diet

The Eat-Clean Diet

Tosca Reno's healthy approach to eating only natural foods.

Top Rated Diet Shakes of 2024
BACKGROUNDBACKGROUND Start the Diet Now Advertisement

What does it mean to "Eat Clean?" There really isn't a precise explanation given by Tosca Reno, the author of the Eat-Clean Diet, other than to say that you should stick to natural foods and shun the man-made variety. She prefers to not even refer to it as a diet, since diets conjure thoughts of deprivation. She says that people are amazed at how much you can eat on the Eat-Clean Diet. It makes perfect sense, because if you are eating natural fruits and vegetables, you get a lot of bang for your calorie "buck."

Tosca's approach may be elementary, but her results are undeniable. After giving birth to three children and tipping the scale at more than 200 pounds, she had had enough. Now she's at a weight comparable to any fit and trim celebrity trainer you've ever seen, and through the Eat-Clean Diet, you can be, too.

This is the way to go. It is not a diet ... it is a true lifestyle change!

I have been researching and reading and am ready to start the Eat Clean way of life. I just wish her books weren't quite so glitzy and commercial---the cover looks like it should say, "As seen on TV!" and I hate the cheesy photos of the author looking like she is posing for Playboy. But what I love about the second book (The Eat Clean Diet Recharged) is that it plainly lays out meal plans and --hallelujah!---a shopping list. And the recipes are all so commonsense; stuff my non-Eat Clean husband will eat.

I just quit my Weight Watchers online subscription. This lifestyle is so simple to follow... no pills, no measuring or tracking points. Just eat natural and small amounts daily. Its simple explanation gives you the motivation. Just know that you will not eat anything from a box, package, or a can for maximum health. Its a great new way to get and be healthy!!!

Food Fanatic

Yummy! My hubby and I have huststarted this diet, and though much different from our daily meals, the food is rather tastey. My husband has lost ten pounds in three weeks and 3 inches off his belly ( much needed drop.) I am trying to get healthy for pregnancy, and this diet seems to be perfect in keeping me trim and not wanting more!
