I am a 54 year old female who is tired of being tired. I weigh 225 pds. I am 5'2" tall. I want to lose a 100 pds. I have begun to exercising 3-4 days a week for an hour or more.
The goals I'm working toward:
- Losing 100 pds
- exercising 5-6 days a week
- not eating in bed before going to sleep
I haven't felt comfortable with my weight since:

I'm inspired to live a healthy life because:
My mother is extremely unhealthy, she is 20 pounds heavier than me, 20 years older than me. I don't want to be where she is at 74 and most importantly I don't like where I am right now. I get out of breath to quickly and it takes much effort to get out of bed. I want to improve my eating habits so that I can have an occassional treat without feeling guilty. I want to inspire others to reach for their goals. To know it's never to late to change.
Healthy habits that work for me:
- I stopped smoking 20 years ago.
- I am enrolled at Golds Gym
- I'm increasing my daily water intake
My favorite activity at the gym is:
Walking on the tread mill at high inclines and beating my time and distance traveled from the time before.
Also I like step classes
I enjoy doing things that make me feel good inside and out.
The accomplishments I'm most proud of:
- Becoming a teacher
- Stopped Smoking
- Having helped a student win a Math Project Contest
