About Me:

Right now, I am a work in progress. I feel like I have so much work to do vs. my progress, but everyone starts somewhere!

The goals I'm working toward:

  • Lose weight
  • have an increase in energy
  • try to add more vegetables to my diet

I haven't felt comfortable with my weight since:

I gained weight during puberty

My favorite healthy food:

Raspberries

My guiltiest pleasure:

Candy Cane Roca

I'm inspired to live a healthy life because:

I had my last baby late in life. I need to be healthy so I can live as long as possible to see the special moments in my kids' lives.

Healthy habits that work for me:

  • No soda
  • combining protein and carbs at meal time
  • avoiding sugar is tough, but I feel better when I do

My favorite activity at the gym is:

treadmill

The accomplishments I'm most proud of:

  • Having a healthy baby at age 40
  • Learning a non-traditional career that was very difficult, but I did it!
