I'm a half crunchy mom who loves my kids, BF still, volunteer too much, love too much, laugh too much and cry too much. I have a great husband who I nag to much (but he totally deserves it) I love to cook but I'm usually too tired to do it often enough, I dance and sing in store lines and my son used to not be embarassed by it, I love a good joke but don't bore me with crap, I write when I have the time, I'm political and I make no apologies for it but I don't sit back and wait for things to happen either. I get involved and make them happen.
I enjoy my friends and family and spend a lot of time with all of them.
I always need a vacation :)
The goals I'm working toward:
- Losing 70 pounds
I haven't felt comfortable with my weight since:
I gave birth to my son almost 14 years ago.
My favorite healthy food:
Salad! I love salad.
My guiltiest pleasure:
Reeses Peanut butter cups
I'm inspired to live a healthy life because:
I want to live longer and enjoy it more than my mom and other relatives have.
My kids need me to be around for them. I also want to break the genetic chain.
Healthy habits that work for me:
- Drinking plain iced tea (love the stuff!!)
- excercising at the gym
- eating healthy foods like salads, veggies and fruits.
My favorite activity at the gym is:
Weight training. I do the elliptical too but only because it's effective, not because I like it.
I also loved kick-boxing when they had it but we lost our instructor.
The accomplishments I'm most proud of:
