About Me:

I'm a 49 year old mom of two with three beautiful grandchildren.

The goals I'm working toward:

I'm inspired to live a healthy life because:

Psoriatic arthritis took the ability to bear weight on my leg. My physician suggested changing my eating habits, the McDougall diet and two weeks later I gave up my cane and walking helpers. It's six months this week, I'm 40 pounds down and although I still have a few aches and pains my cane is still retired!

Healthy habits that work for me:

  • Make sure I pack my lunch every day
  • Cook and share my vegan recipes with my work partners
  • Reading informational books to help keep me motivated i.e., 21 Day Jump Start, The Pleasure Trap, The Starch Solution

My favorite activity at the gym is:

Not involved in a gym

The accomplishments I'm most proud of:

  • My children & grandchildren
  • Personal growth in business and life
