My name is Erin and I have been overweight my whole life. It's something that....sadly has just become who I am. I have tried so many times to diet and lose weight, but for some reason I defeat myself and end up right where I left off. I'm trying to turn over a new leaf and get my life going in the right direction because someday I would like to meet the man of my dreams and have children.
The goals I'm working toward:
- I would like to lose more than 100lbs
- I would like to be able to have children someday and watch them grow up.
- I would like to be OKAY with ME and who I am.
I haven't felt comfortable with my weight since:
I havent been okay with myself my WHOLE life...I have always been overweight and have never known what its like to be skinny or shop in a normal store for clothes.
My favorite healthy food:
I love all healthy food. I am not a picky eater. I acutally like healthier foods compared to the drivethrough....imagine a fat person saying that, haha...but its true.
My guiltiest pleasure:
CHOCOLATE.......and lots of it...in any way shape or form....i love it.....
I'm inspired to live a healthy life because:
I want to look and feel beautiful. I want guys to look at me and say...wow she is pretty....I want to go shopping for my "little black dress".....I NEED TO FEEL ALIVE for once!!!
Healthy habits that work for me:
- I got a gym membership
- I stopped drinking soda a long time ago
- I bring healthy snacks to work so im not eating junk at my desk
My favorite activity at the gym is:
I like walking on the treadmill and running....for like 5-10 min if I can. I would also like to start doing some tae bo again.
The accomplishments I'm most proud of:
- I have a decent job
- Finally got a car I can be proud of
- and realizing that I have to make a change...
