I'm a mom who has put everything else aside and dedicated myself to be a stay at home mom to my 3 yr old Logan! I spent a few years working in Concord Mills and worked my way up to Manager of a clothing store. I've finally finished my GED and now can't wait to start College when Logan goes to preschool in the fall.
The goals I'm working toward:
- maintaing my current 80 lbs weight loss
- losing at least 40 more lbs
- being happy and healthy!
I haven't felt comfortable with my weight since:
puberty! lol late diagnosis of PCOS, which didn't help my fight with wieght.
My favorite healthy food:
I love whole wheat bread, frigo string cheese, fiber one bars. I'm all about some grilled chicken.
My guiltiest pleasure:
I love my junk food too I just eat it all in moderation. I'm a recovering pizza,cheeseburger and chocolate junkie.
I'm inspired to live a healthy life because:
When my son was an infant I topped the scale at 283lbs..put onto high blood pressure and cholestrol meds at 25 yrs old..working towards type 2 diabetes.The way I was heading I wasn't gonna be around long for my son..
Healthy habits that work for me:
- using Sparkpeople.com to track food and exercise
- making a chart every Sunday for eating and workouts the entire week
- No junk in the house if I eat bad it's out somewhere not in my home.
The accomplishments I'm most proud of:
- My son
- My Ged
- 80 lbs DONE! And Gone
