Used to be one of those annoyingly thin people...till they took all my "pieces 'n parts" over a few year period and then my metabolism changed and of course I got older. So gained, and gained. Nov. 2011 I started dieting and educating myself and taking much better care of myself and now, 9 months later I am down 58lbs with just a few more to go!
The goals I'm working toward:
- Size 8 consistently and the occasional size 6!
- Going to my son's wedding in Oct and seeing jaws drop!
My favorite healthy food:
I love nearly ALL food!
My guiltiest pleasure:
Depends on my mood but I pretty much DON'T like soda anymore!
I'm inspired to live a healthy life because:
I want to be healthier for me, first and foremost.
Then I want to be healthier for my man...I want him to be proud to have me by his side!
Healthy habits that work for me:
- water, water, water
- don't "hunt" for the good parking spots - burn a calorie and walk a little!
- Think about my food choices - is it worth it? Is there a better option?
My favorite activity at the gym is:
LEAVING! But it's a necessity to go and the things I hate there most I know are the things I must then need the most!
The accomplishments I'm most proud of:
- Getting in to size 8!!
