Basketball Stars' Workout Plans

The NBA talks up Steve Nash's exceptional physical qualities, like "balance, core strength, eye-hand coordination and the ability to change speed and direction quickly." All of this makes him an elite athlete, as does the work he does off the basketball court. He does weights three times a week, focusing on a different muscle group each time. On Fridays for biceps and triceps, he'll do dumbbell bicep curls, preacher curls, and dumbbell triceps kickbacks on a stability ball. Tuesdays and Thursdays he does cardio only, mixing it up by skateboarding or playing basketball, tennis, or soccer.
