Mar-a-Lago Pear Chutney

A sweet pear topping for Oprah's favorite Mar-a-lago Turkey Burger.

Yield: Serves 6


  1. 1 Anjour pear, peeled and diced
  2. 1/2 tsp. sea salt
  3. 1 1/2 cups Major Grey's Chutney
  4. 1/4 cup dried currants or raisins
  5. Cinnamon to taste


  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Toss the diced pears with the cinnamon and salt.
  3. Bake on a parchment-lined cookie sheet for 10 minutes.
  4. Cool and mix with the chutney and currants or raisins.

Use this on the Mar-A-Lago Turkey Burger.

Janny and Betty - the original recipe doesn't have instructions for cinnamon. We've made a note to use to taste.

This sounds great but as Betty asks, how much cinnamon? And, a little confusing -- the ingredients and instructions are flipped...
