Baked Chicken And Prosciutto
A tasty variation on chicken cordon bleu.
Yield: Serves 4
Ingredients
- 4 skinless boneless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup low-calorie Italian salad dressing
- 2 slices prosciutto, halved
Instructions
- Marinate chicken breasts in Italian dressing overnight (covered and chill)
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
- Coat baking dish with nonstick spray
- Arrange breasts in single layer
- Cover each chicken breast with a piece of prosciutto, tucking ends under chicken
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until juices run clear

Chavone - Skip the bread and go with a brown rice instead. For sides, a green salad can always be served, also try a baked sweet potato (with enough natural flavor and moisture to not need any oils/fats added), and go for another green like steamed broccoli or fresh green beans! Enjoy!

This sounds delish! I am going to try it this weekend. What is recommended for sides? Also what type of bread would be served with this dish.
