Are New Lifestyle products better than Ideal Protein?

I lost 30# last year with Ideal Protein; not surprisingly 10# have "slipped" back on. A friend suggested New Lifestyle saying it was cheaper and about the same product. To me though it seems New Lifestyle items are not using as good ingredients as IP. Any input on this?
