EXERCISE

Your Ultimate Pilates Body Challenge includes two parts: A cardio component and a mat workout. The cardio component is a Pilates-aware circuit that can be done on a variety of machines like the StairMaster, treadmill, rowing machine or elliptical trainer. Rather than just staying on one machine for 30 minutes, you are instructed to circuit train on two to four machines for a total of 35 minutes. You are also given 10-minute workout challenges for each machine that rev up your heart rate and help maximize your workout while preventing boredom.

Once the circuit-training cardio component is complete, you then move on to a 10-minute mat sequence. The mat sequences include the Tantalizing Ten (ten exercises that create a total body workout), Adding Abs, Lean Lower Body, Perfecting Posture and Finding Flexibility exercises. The book features a Road Map which plots a complete mat routine for you from start to finish. Each mat workout should take you about 10-15 minutes to do.

You are instructed to a do the complete cardio and mat workout three days a week.

The book also includes how Pilates can help golfers, tennis players, skiers and snowboarders.

This sounds SO GOOD! I love Pilates, but am kinda rusty, only thing I'm a little worried about is if this program might be a little advanced for me, but maybe that's a good thing and I'll get back in the swing of things with a challenge? Usually works!
