Vitalicious is a line of baked goods that not only taste great, but are good for you. Loaded with vitamins, minerals and plant sterols, these products promise to satisfy and satiate while helping to reduce cholesterol and facilitate weight loss.

Featuring a comprehensive and easy to use online store, you can order muffins, brownies, and even whole cakes delivered right to your door. Or, if you would rather enjoy the fresh-baked aroma yourself, you can order ready-to-bake dry ingredients, add liquid, and bake yourself.

While Vitalicious doesn't promote themselves as a weight loss company per se, it's easy to see how these products would support an individual in their well-intentioned weight loss efforts. At only 100 calories, with negligible fat and 6 grams of fiber, Vitalicious is the ideal solution to those dieters with a busy lifestyle who tend to skip breakfast or need the portability of a packaged product.

The Hungry Girl is a big fan of all Vitalicous products.

PRODUCTSPRODUCTS

The line of Vitalicious products is extensive. The most exciting product is the muffin tops line, whereby apple berry bran, toasted corn and deep chocolate are just a few of the tempting flavors to choose from.

The recipe section of the website does a good job of showing how to add variety to the mixes. However, they should think of some fun ways to use the products in re-formulated recipes. For instance, making a parfait with low-fat yogurt and pieces of the vita brownie, or using the corn muffin top as the crust for a mini pizza.

The ingredients appear to be wholesome, and the company does a good job of explaining plant sterols and how they regulate cholesterol.

EXERCISEEXERCISE

Walking is the theme here, and Vitalicious even goes so far as to show you how long you would have to walk to burn one Vitalicious muffin! Only 13-15 minutes. Imagine if fast food restaurants offered the same information?

CONCLUSIONCONCLUSION

For those individuals looking to build healthy habits without sacrificing taste and tradition (or even carbs!), a Vitalicious muffin would be a perfect way to start the day. Whether it be the airport traveler, the busy parent, or the health-conscious retiree who loves to bake, there is something for everyone in this full line of convenient products.

Don't forget weight maintenance, which is generally even more difficult than weight loss. Vitalicious has done a good job of creating visibility in reputable magazines often read by those enjoying their new found physiques, and would be a terrific adjunct to a more active approach to a lifetime of healthy eating.

People wanting to lose weight and if these are low fat high fiber then they would be good to incorporate in your eating plan for your weight loss program

if you know anything about past any weight watchers you'd see that vitatops did have a 1 point value....this article was written before the points plus plan came out

I don't know how the points value was figured but on the new plan most come out to 3 points not 1 ... this I found out after purchasing them ....

The brownies were good BUT it's kind of difficult to portion them out. So if your looking to eat exactly 100 calories the muffins will be your best bet.

These are the GREATEST! I got the Vita-Muffin Deep Chocolate flavor. My 5 yr old son and I are true chocoholics and I can't get him to eat many veggies. These muffins have SOOO many vitamins and minerals and are low in sugar, fat and calories. I thought they may taste "vitaminy" like the orange juice that has the added vitamins/minerals; but it tastes like deep, rich chocolate muffins that I would make from scratch!! These were in the freezer section and I just thawed for 20 seconds in the microwave....instant YUMMO!!

The brownie's are my fav as I am a nighttime sweet cravin' snacker. The products really take the edge off of the craving and they're packed with vitamins. Love it!
