The Meat Lover's Meatless Cookbook: Vegetarian Recipes Carnivores Will Devour is a newly released cookbook featuring 52 weeks’ worth of menus for avid meat lovers that happen to be meat free. The Meat Lover's Meatless Cookbook is written by Kim O’Donnel and Myra Kohn. This book is not intended to force vegetarian eating on those that love meat. Instead it offers some meat free meals that are satisfying and delicious to those that known they need to take an occasional break from eating meat. This book does take the stance that eating less meat is healthier for both your body and environment we live in.

The idea for this cookbook actually comes from the Meatless Mondays campaign that was founded by Johns Hopkins University. The menus in this cookbook are easy and offer a great approach to introducing meat free meals occasionally. There are included in the cookbook some of the effects consuming too much meat can have on your body. This cookbook leads you in the right direction towards eating less meat, and guides you through how to implement that in your own kitchen.
