Skinny Bitch Fitness

Get in shape Skinny Bitch Style.

BACKGROUND Start the Diet Now Advertisement

The Skinny Bitches have left the kitchen momentarily and hit the gym. In their two first workout DVDs, Skinny Bitch Bootcamp and Skinny Bitch Body, duo Rory and Kim are helping you whip your butt into shape in their signature brash, honest and sometimes offensive candor.

Both of the workout DVDs are designed to give you a challenging total body workout, irrespective of your size or fitness level. From boosting sagging arms to strengthening soft tushes, Skinny Bitch Fitness promises to get your body in awesome shape in no time at all.

PRO
  • Promotes exercise
  • Provides a total-body workout that you can do in your own home
  • A fun and engaging way to workout
CON
  • Skinny Bitch style may be too harsh for some
  • Workouts may not be challenging enough
  • Targeted to only women
  • Because of language, don't watch videos in front of children
DIET and NUTRITION

There are no diet or nutrition guidelines given in the Skinny Bitch Fitness DVDs other than a few comments about eating healthy and putting down twinkies, but the Skinny Bitches have an entire mini-library of diet books that focus on vegetarian and vegan eating.

EXERCISE

The Skinny Bitch Fitness series features two DVDS: Bootcamp and Body.

Skinny Bitch Bootcamp workout segment is packed with solid conditioning exercises that will define, tone, and strengthen your muscles and get your heart going. The entire bootcamp video lasts for approximately 80 minutes

Skinny Bitch Body focuses on specific body parts like abs, legs, arms, and butt and provides exercises for each of these target areas. Each segmented area lasts about 15-20 minutes.

CONCLUSION

The Skinny Bitch Fitness DVDs are convenient and entertaining ways to get in shape without having to go to a gym. Featuring the sharp-tongued Skinny Bitches, Rory and Kim, they have put together two workout videos that can help you reshape your entire body and get your heart rate going regardless of your body size. But because of their trademark harsh tone, they may put off or even offend some. Be cautious about watching these in front of children because a few expletives are dropped every now and then.

I haven't read any of the Skinny Bitch books but I just purchased the Boot Camp dvd and it is without a doubt probably the worst workout dvd I have ever seen or done. There is far too much talking going on which is distracting, obnoxious and annoying, the routine is not challenging and very fractured and I'm not even sure why they bothered with music since they don't follow along with it very well. Overall, if I had flushed my money down the toilet it would have gone a lot further.

I love everything about the Skinny Bitch diet books. I think they give you the cold hard truth about eating healthy and about the lies other diet programs and especially the government tells us about our food. However, the fitness DVDS are a huge disappointment. I am a workout DVD queen, I've tried everything out there, and this did just not measure up. The workouts are too easy, the queing is strange, the cutscenes are confusing, and ...it's just not that good. The only thing I like about it is that it's pretty long--most DVDS are about 30 minutes and that's it. I hate to be so negative about such a great product line but don't waste your money.
