The Six-Week Bikini Countdown is an interval training program that combines cardio activity with Pilates moves and strength training exercises. Most of the cardio is done on a treadmill, but a stationary bike or elliptical trainer can also be substituted. You will also need an exercise mat, a 2-pound ball, large exercise ball, 8-10 pound dumbell and an exercise step or access to stairs.

The mini workouts are intended to be done six days a week. You will first perform cardiovascular routine and then finish with seven to nine Pilates or strength-training exercises.
