Personal Training with Jackie: Power Circuit Training

Jackie Warner is a personal trainer to the stars and the host of the popular television show, Work Out. She owns a gym in Beverly Hills and charges up to $400 for one hour of personal training. Now, you can have an hour of her undivided attention in your own home with this fitness DVD.

In this video, Jackie puts you through your paces with her highly effective circuit training workouts. There are five different options of workouts on this video: 15-Minute Total Body Circuit, 40-Minute Total Body Circuit, 15-Minute Abs Only Circuit, 15-Minute Upper Body Circuit, and 15-Minute Lower Body Circuit. Each circuit will focus on different muscle groups and will challenge you while also giving you the results you want.

The circuit are short and intense, which will help you keep from getting bored during your workout. There are also modifications you can make to each circuit to adjust it to your own fitness needs; however, it is targeted towards a more advanced level of exercisers. This video makes working out fun and passes the time more quickly than spending an hour at the gym.

EXERCISE

Experts recommend at least 30 minutes of exercise, five days a week. The full circuit in this video is approximately 40 minutes, so it could be used to fulfill this recommendation.

CONCLUSION

This video is challenging and will push you farther than you might expect. However, it will produce the results you are looking for if you want to tone up, lose some weight, and get in better shape.

The different circuits target different areas of your body, which allows you to get a full-body workout from one video. The high intensity of the workouts will leave your muscles burning, but in a good way.

Some people prefer Jillian Michaels' brand of circuit training to Jackie's. You will probably like Jackie's version better if you want more variety in your workouts and want new exercises that you can not find in other workout videos. Jackie has her own specialized workout programs that are unlike the workouts you will find in other fitness DVDs.
