The NutriSystem Select program features 170 meals including 24 new delicious fresh-frozen dishes!. On the program, you will eat three meals and one snack each day.
New frozen food items include ice cream treats like Ice Cream Sandwiches, Orange-Cream Ice Cream Bars, Apple Crisp, Peach Crisp and entrees like Shrimp Alfredo, Spicy Asian Beef Tips, Hearty Ham and Cheese Sandwich, Homestyle Pancakes, Margherita Pizza and Garden Vegetable Omelets.
On the select plan you are free to mix and match your new frozen entrees with the shelf-stable meals. All meals can be prepared within just a few minutes.
EXERCISE
You are strongly encouraged to exercise while on any NutriSystem program. Your welcome kit will include exercise recommendations based upon the program you chose, your age, gender and weight loss goal.
You will also have access to a number of online resources such as a food diary, exercise log and progress tracker. For the money you spend for their food, which is like an MRE (Meal Ready to Eat) and what you have to purchase to supplement their food, it is not worth it.
I tried it for 5 weeks and dropped weight immediately because I was consuming 1400 calories a day but the thought of eating their food, paying for their food, and the way my body responded to their food (nutri-poots) the weightloss simply was not enough for me to continue on the plan. 10 pounds for $300 and the worst gas I have ever had.
