The Liquid HCG Diet is another option for those seeking to use the HCG hormone for weight loss. The Liquid HCG Diet offers guaranteed weight loss results or you can get your money back. You choose how long you need to be on the program and order the product according to your time frame. The HCG is in the form of liquid drops instead of the standard daily injection of HCG. You can lose between 25 and 40 pounds in a month according to the plan. You must follow the diet and drop instructions exactly or you could gain weight rapidly. The Liquid HCG Diet uses the HCG hormone to help you reshape your body, avoid sagging, curb your appetite and build lean muscle mass.

The Liquid HCG Diet also states that because you are maintaining lean muscle mass, you are less likely to gain the weight back that you’ve lost. The Liquid HCG Diet includes the drops and a booklet explaining the diet so you’ll have everything you need to get started. The diet typically includes eating 500 calories each day and taking the drops before meals. Such a low calorie intake is the major reason you lose weight so quickly on the Liquid HCG Diet. The drops are supposed to keep your hunger at bay and force your body to use stored fat to function since it is receiving so little food each day.

ADMINISTRATION

It is recommend that you begin with the approximate equivalent of 0.5 mL three times daily and about 20 minutes before eating.

DIET & EXERCISE

There is no exercise recommendation given due to the low calorie intake you have while on this diet. There are three different diet phases with the Liquid HCG Diet. The first phase is two days, phase two can last from three weeks to 40 days and phase three can be three weeks or on a permanent basis. It is recommended that you binge eat on the first two days of the Liquid HCG Diet and begin taking your drops which is phase one. The diet actually encourages you to eat foods that are high in fat during this time. This is so that you won’t be hungry the first couple of days when you switch to the 500 calorie daily diet. You should have 0.5 cc’s of HCG before or after breakfast lunch and dinner on the first two days. Starting on the third day of the diet, you will eat only 500 calories each day and continue the same amount of the drops. This marks the second phase of the program. The strict 500 calorie diet must be followed exactly. This is the same diet you will maintain until you reach your goal weight or for a maximum of 40 days. If you are not at your goal at the end of 40 days, you must move to phase three of the program for three weeks and then start the program over again. Below are some of the guidelines for phase two since it is the most restrictive period of the program:

  • Take the HCG 30 minutes before or after breakfast, lunch or dinner
  • Drink at least 64 oz of water, coffee or tea daily
  • Only eight items may be eaten each day
  • You must stay under 500 calories per day

Some of the details for phase three allow you more leniency. You must stick to a 1,500 calorie diet that includes no sugar or starch. This includes things like honey, aspartame, sweeteners and Splenda. It is important to note that if you gain more than two pounds while in phase three, you must perform a mini-steak day. The details for this are as follows:

  • Skip breakfast and lunch, but drink plenty of fluids like water, coffee and tea
  • Eat a huge steak for dinner with only an apple or raw tomato as a side dish
CONCLUSION

Although many people are desperate to lose weight, HCG diets are highly controversial and many doctors will tell you this is the wrong way to try and meet your goals. A diet that is so restrictive and low in calories can be very hard on your body and your mind. Many of the elements of this diet involve literally starving yourself to take the weight off. There are much safer ways to lose weight than the Liquid HCG Diet. Through a healthy reduced calorie diet, you may find that your results are slower, but healthier in the long run.

why are there only 4 reviews on this? when i first researched it there were thousands of reviews. i gained all the weight back and now I do protein shakes and ive found one that really works and tastes good so you stick to it!

Is there a menu to follow on hCG? HCG I need to lose about 30=40 lbs. HCG im 50. Is there a menu to follow for the kinds of foods one should eat -- Is there a menu to I take welbutrin, klonopin daily.abien&hydroxizine when needed.

I did 2 rounds on the Liquid HCG Diet and had great results. Some of this info here isn't completely correct. Thier plan is a little more evolved - they've made "super" drops that have amino acids and glandular support to make it even safer, and they also have an ACTIVE plan that encourages exercise with increased calories. Plus you want to get just over 500 calories and they advise never going under.
