Krav Maga is a form of martial arts self-defense practice that incorporates elements of boxing, judo, and jujitsu into a non-combative exercise. First developed in Checkslovakia, Krav Maga migrated to Isreal, where it is currently used as a standard form of training for the Isreali Security Forces.

Now, it has captured the attention of Westerners who want to learn how to protect themselves in case of an attack and/or get in shape. Krav Maga fans include Jennifer Lopez and Bar Rafaeli. There are Krav Maga studios and certified instructors all over the United States, as well as books and DVDs for self-training.
