Jillian Michaels Yoga Meltdown

A DVD that leads you through yoga power poses to help you get ripped quickly.

BACKGROUND Start the Diet Now Advertisement

The DVD, which runs for approximately 60 minutes, combines Jillian's signature fat-melting fitness techniques with some of yoga's most challenging poses to bring you a genuine calorie-burning workout.

Yoga's movements use your own body strength to lift and move you, rather than relying on the external weight of a machine or dumbbell. Michaels, who has a background in martial arts, combines her fitness expertise with the ancient tradition of yoga to bring you a workout designed to develop long, lean and strong muscles while also providing you with a real results-driven workout.

I did this today. It was crazy and I was sweating profusely throughout it. I could feel my heart working as well as my muscles. I've added it to my workout routine and I'm excited. For calories, it's roughly 147-163 calories burned pure 30 minute workout. Depending on the intensity you are doing, if you're taking breaks, if you're following the advanced girl or the modified girl.

Never knew that Jillian MIchaels was into yoga, I think this would be good, sometimes yoga feels too slow & boring.

Seriously hard, and fun. Jillian's attitude cracks me up and I love her comments. Easy to follow with clear instructions. I lift weights five times a week and this video left me more sore than I can recall being in years.

I really loved it and although Jillian isn't a yoga expert she admits to working with a yogi when putting the workouts together. It's fast paced like Shred too, which I really liked!
