BACKGROUND Start the Diet Now Advertisement

The Iron Gym is a new at-home workout tool being advertised on TV and through the Internet. Iron Gym allows you to turn any doorway in your house into a personal at home gym. The design allows it to wrap around a door frame and uses leverage so that you don’t have to use any tools in order to workout.

Some of the exercises that can be done with the aid of the Iron Gym include chin-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups, push-ups, tricep dips and ab crunches. Each Iron Gym also comes with a set of ab straps and a nutrition guide.

DIET and NUTRITION

Although the Iron Gym does come with a workout nutrition guide, the site gives no information on what that includes. In order to lose weight with this piece of equipment, a properly outlined diet will need to be followed. Without buying the product, there is no way to tell if the nutrition plan that comes with the Iron Gym is one that will lead to weight loss.

EXERCISE

The exercises that can be done with the Iron Gym are definitely good for building strength and toning the body. However for those needing to lose large amounts of weight, many of these exercises may not be doable. The exercises that are to be performed with the Iron Gym are as follows:

  • Ab Crunches
  • Tricep Dips
  • Pull-ups
  • Push-ups
  • Chin-ups
CONCLUSION

Overall the Iron Gym appears to be a convenient piece of equipment that can be used for exercises that typically had to be done at the gym. Particularly targeted towards men, the Iron Gym allows the convenience of working out at-home to build definition and strength. The Iron Gym may not be suitable for those that are severely overweight. For those wanting to get into shape and add definition to their muscles, the Iron Gym may be just the tool you need.
