BACKGROUND

eDiets.com was one of the early adopters of an online diet program for children. While dieting isn't normally recommended for kids, when they put on so much weight that it jeopardizes their health in the long run, something needs to be done. The obesity epidemic in our children has been well documented in recent years. There are many reasons for it. Parents aren't doing much better in the battle of the bulge, so it makes sense that their offspring follow suit. Kids don't play outdoors as much anymore either. They'd rather be texting their friends and playing video games than playing sports or horsing around at the playground.

With Trim Kids by eDiets, you can teach your children the basics of healthy living and what you can do to change things. It's a precarious challenge, since you need to be sensitive to the emotional needs of a child, especially when it comes to something as sensitive as their weight. Trim Kids gives you the dietary tools and suggestions on how to incorporate diet and fitness into their lives, while making it fun for them.

- You get online support when you have difficulties and questions about how to handle your child's eating habits.

Cheryl :  I did this program for my kds and I do not recommend it to any one. I called the costommer service hotline, and the people where very rude. on the diet end yes, they do have foods that the childeren like but the food bill will run you about 150 DOLLARS A WEEK!!!!!!! I personally dont have that kind of money to spend on food per week. In the begginning this diet seemed like it was a good thing, but once you sign up you learn the truth. I hope that I could help some of you .
