Rosemary Conleys Hip and Thigh Diet
Wouldn't it be nice if you could pick and choose where you lose weight on your body first?
Some people prefer focusing on a problem area when dieting. Rosemary Conley's Hip and Thigh Diet very clearly identifies a diet program for women and men who see these areas as their biggest setbacks.
Hips and thighs can be tricky places to lose weight. Conley has developed a program to focus on just your hips and thighs and, she says, garners positive results.
In her book, Conley exposes her own personal battle with overeating and the trials of weight loss and gain, as well as testimonials from dedicated followers who've found success using the program.
- Some good food choices
- Based on the false pretense of spot reduction
The book also offers more than 150 recipes with vegetarian variations, exercise recommendations that target the hips and thighs and menus to help make planning one less headache.
Conley's diet is a balanced combination of carbs, fats, fruits and vegetables. Shocking to some might be the inclusion of carbs. But, she says when consumed in moderation, pastas and potatoes can actually act as an appetite suppressant, as they will fill you up and not leave you wanting more.EXERCISE
Her website has an interactive fitness diary.CONCLUSION
Conley owns one of the largest and most successful fitness club chains in England. So, someone is listening to her advice. There may be some good advice in this plan, but there's a falsity in the very title of the book. There's no such thing as spot reduction, so you can't just chose to lose weight in your hips and thighs. You lose weight, which you shed in an order that is out of your control.Common Misspellings
