BACKGROUND
Fitness expert Jorge Cruise presents a simple dietary plan that he guarantees will help you drop two pounds each week and quickly see belly fat fade away. The 3-Hour Diet suggests that from the time you wake until three hours before bed, you should eat every three hours, including three meals and 2 snacks.
The worst part of any diet is the list of restricted and acceptable foods. Jorge suggests that these prohibitive plans encourage failure. That's why Jorge says "there are no bad foods, only bad timing and servings." Yes, you can eat exactly what you want, including all of your favorites. The 3-Hour Diet says when you fix your plate, half should be filled with vegetables, a protein the size of a deck of cards and a Rubik's cube amount of carbs. Jorge has guidelines in place to help you meet your goals, and allow you to indulge in chocolate, bread, pasta and even hitting the drive-thru.
With research backing Jorge's 3-Hour Diet program, he shows how eating every third hour will help your body turn off its SPM, or Starvation Protection Mechanism. Jorge says that the SPM is responsible for storing fat, slowing metabolism and eating away at muscle, preventing lean muscle from burning fat.

common misspellings: 3hour diet, 3 hour deit, 3hourdiet
Cassie: Finally! Something that is making a difference. 3 Hour Diet has helped me lose about 10 pounds already- just a few weeks!! Give it a try and good luck!!
Melissa: This sounds like it makes sense. I've heard that any smaller meals throughout the day is healthier, this plan might just help me beat this once and for all. I don't know about the drive-thru being the best idea under any diet though.
Deb42: I just started and I'm already feeling great. I also decided to skip the fast food-thx anyway 3 hour. This is going to be something I can definetely stick with.
Shelby J: I used this ruitine for two or three weeks with balanced meals and actually dropped nearly ten pounds. Finding a way to haul meals to school is difficult sometimes but it's doable.
Steve: I really like the sound of a 3 hour diet. Not the most patient person.
Anonymous: This diet has made me understand that food isn't everything and that i can do other things to entertain myself!! i have already lost 23 pounds on this diet, but really it feels like a hundred pounds. i can finally play with my kids!! thanks 3 hour
lydiaq: this diet seems to cut out some important food groups, mind you im only 15, but this used to be an obsesion of mine(weight) and i know all about the things that work and the things that waist time, eating smaller amounts of food through out the day is a healthy thing to do...but dont count on it when it comes to making you lose weight. calories in must be less than calories out to lose weight, keep this in mind because its the only factor in losing weight once you can no longer rely on your matabolism, so this along with regular exercise will infact help you lose weight...thnk you for listening~lydia
MAS6974: The 3-hour diet is excellent. You could actually eat a variety of foods and feel healthy.
Anonymous: Been on this diet for about 3 weeks, and I've already lost 8 pounds! I'm a college student, work out moderately, about 5 times a week, and when I'm not able to be back at the apt, I just pack a 100-calorie snack in my bag to eat at the correct time during class. I've found that eating oatmeal in the morning is very filling (within one hour of waking) and drinking tea sweetened with splenda between snacks/meals is very helpful in curbing cravings- or at least killing some time before eating. I've also found stopping eating 3 hours before bed can be quite difficult, so instead of continuing to make myself go to bed early every night, celery is a perfect snack. I have stopped drinking alcohol as well, and this has pretty much put a damper on my nightlife, but I can deal for a few more weeks. Although this diet says you can eat "bad" foods in small portions, I've decided to stick to healthier choices at least until I've reached my goal weight. And if you're like me, eating more of the healthy foods is more satisfying than eating a tiny portion of a "bad" food choice. Just make sure that meals are around 300-450 calories, and snacks are around 100 calories and try eating whole grains instead of the "white" choices because your body takes longer to break them down. Good luck! =)
Anonymous: I lost 20 lbs. in one month just following this diet plan! Therefore, I KNOW for a fact that it works! :)
