Akavar

Akavar

Claims that you can eat all you want and still lose weight.

Top Rated Diet Pills of 2024
BACKGROUNDBACKGROUND Start the Diet Now Advertisement

Akavar 20/50 is a European weight loss pill that has achieved much success. It has made its move to the U.S. seeking the same. Akavar boasts that it is the ultimate fat cure and that you'll see the results you seek without any diet restrictions or inclusion of exercise.

Akavar is designed to restrict your daily caloric intake to less than normal. Without those calories that your body requires for energy, you'll start to use your fat reserves. This will of course cause you to lose weight and inches. However, you'll immediately gain back that weight should you stop using Akavar. The website offers little-to-know information about the product leaving open many questions about the supplement.

Do You Know the Best Diet Pills of 2024?

PROPRO
  • Promotes eating all you like and still seeing weight loss
  • Reduces urge to overeat
  • Do not have to count calories
  • Won't feel hungry
CONCON

Akavar 20/50 leaves a lot to be desired. Some of the more concerning details include:

  • Promotes a lifestyle without exercise and healthy diet
  • No FDA approval
  • Web site offers very little information
  • No published clinical research
  • Does not publish ingredients
  • Contains caffeine
INGREDIENTSINGREDIENTS

It takes a lot of research to find what is inside those little Akavar tablets, as the product's website bypasses any discussion. Akavar includes many caffeine sources including xanthine and green tea leaf. Other ingredients include yerba mate, guarana seed, ginger root, kola nut, Tibetan ginseng, cocoa nut, rice flour, yellow no. 6, red no. 3 and Gelatin, among many others.

CONCLUSIONCONCLUSION

Akavar 20/50 leaves a lot of open questions- which really leads to concerns about both the product's effectiveness and impact on the body. With so many diet pills and supplements on the market, it is important for manufacturers to paint a detailed picture of the product to help consumers make the most educated decisions. Many diet pills and supplements provide all of the information that Akavar seems to have conveniently left out. It is also a little misleading that without diet and exercise you can still lose weight. Anyone who has ever committed to losing weight knows that without important changes to diet and exercise, results are often not achieved.

I think Akavar is a great way to help jumpstart an improved, healthy lifestyle. Using it to lose those first few pounds is really a great motivator to start eating healthy and exercising in order to look and feel good! Not to mention, as is the case with any supplement, you have to follow the directions precisely. I think a lot of people don't adhere to the given instructions and warnings that come with the product.

OK, well I bought it last night at GNC for $32.99 for 72 capsules. (It was on sale.) I took one pill this morning with my One A Day vitamin & about 7 oz. of water. I felt I should start with only one pill because I don't generally have much caffeine. 15 minutes later, I started to eat my banana for breakfast. I was almost done with my banana when I felt a little weird, & wasn't sure if I was going to have to get sick or not. This is not abnormal for me, since I don't take pills, & hate taking them... especially this size. My vitamin is just about as big as the Akavar. It's really a forceful process for me so I hope that I can stick with it. The feeling subsided in less than 5 minutes & right now, I'm just a little jittery, but it's manageable. I finally decided to ask a friend who had lost 60 lbs how she did it & she pulled me into the kitchen showing me Akavar. She said her mother had lost almost as much weight. I would have never bought it otherwise because of the stupid ads "We couldn't say this on TV if it weren't true." That was just hysterical to me. I asked her what was wrong with it because I figured, if it works, there has to be something wrong... but I surmised that anything is healthier than what I am now, almost 220 lbs at 5'8". I used to model, & 8 years ago, when I graduated high school, I was 114 lbs. I never expect to be that weight again, & honestly, prefer a curvier body type, but I'd like to get down to something below 150. I've tried diet & exercise & even joined my gym's "biggest loser" competition. I worked my butt off & plateaued only a few lbs lighter than what I started out with. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's so I'm not sure if that's what keeps me from losing weight. I'm very lethargic normally & could sleep at any time of day if I closed my eyes long enough. I'm hoping this will give me enough energy to walk my dog when I get home like I tell myself I will do every day, then come home & lay down because I'm too tired to keep promises to myself. I'm sure my dog will appreciate my newfound energy too. I used to take Ephedrine in the past, & I think I managed to lose a little weight, while I admittedly did not weigh myself. I'm crossing my fingers that I too, will lose 60+ lbs on Akavar! I'll keep y'all updated!

Ok so here's the real jist on this pill. First of all anyone who actually belives that you can sit down at a table and eat all you want, take this pill and still lose weight is simply insane!! Wake up for petes sakes!! If anything taking this pill or any other pill using common sense will work. However heres the kicker!! You must get off your bum workout be it you walk, run, jog or skip just do something aside sit in font of your computer or television!! It takes time to lose weight but if you do simple things like a bit of exercise and eat without SUPER sizing your meals you will lose weight!! I don't know if this pill works or not. But I think it's safe to say anything will work if you put forth effort!! I noticed some saying their tummy hurts or " Ive taking this pill ate all I wanted and nothing I only gained" Humm what did you think would happen? Goodness sakes alive!! If you are going to take a pill best believe it's not a magic pill but more likely something to aide you in your efforts to lose your unwanted pounds. Best of luck to you all, be safe and most of all to those who believe in fat laying on the floor when you wake up the next morning.. STOP DREAMING!! Cheers!!

I have been taking Akavar for a week or so now, and I have to say, the first few days, I was noticing that I wasn't as hungry, and I was happy! I thought that was good, and I was looking forward to eating less, and losing weight. Towards a few days after, I noticed that my heart was beating too fast, and I was extremely irritable, and moody. Like, I feel like I am PMS'ing like all day, and yesterday I had to come home, and I felt like I was going to pass out! Seriously, I believe that this is all bull sh** and anyone out there believing all these good reviews are going to be way dissapointed if they actually believe them!

ok, first off..i was very skepitcal in regards to this product. i have tried all of them out there from metabolife, hydroxycut, trimspa, hoodia, green tea tablets, and so on...i started taking akavar back in october of 2007. as of 4/2008 ive lost 60 lbs, 2 pants sizes, dropped from a 3xl shirt to 2xl shirt. do i still need to lose more weight, you betcha i do. but, thing is, im doing it slowly so it will stay off. i walk reguarly and eat sensibly, but i dont keep myself from enjoying certain foods. however, hot dogs, bologne and high fatty foods, are off limits now. lots n lots of chicken ,grains and high fiber. i would definately reccomend this product to anyone that needs to lose weight, but, eating fast food and drinking pop like you used to wont help you either..

Ok I'm checking back in one week later. I started at 144 and I'm down to 137.6, I'm assuming that most of it is water weight but am very pleased. I have been working out nearly everyday doing an hour or cardio and some weight training. However, I have always worked out frequently. this is impressive to see because (being a college student) I had alcohol at night on two of the days and had a late night unhealthy food run lol. However, I noticed my body has gotten use to the caffine. I love the energy boost this stuff gives and I no longer have any trouble sleeping at night. I won't take a pill past 5 though. Well I ll check back in another week to note my progress! I hope the weight loss continues!

I've used this product for 2 weeks and have lost 10lbs. Even though it states you can eat normally....DON'T!! Be smart and have a diet plan in place, then use this. You WILL achieve results. The Gym also helps. LoL!

OK I understand that everyone's body is different and for some people it may not work but I'll tell you my story. I did the whole diet and ex. thing for 7 months... and I lost about 35 pounds. Then the next month I tried to lose more but I couldn't even working out more and eating better. So I starting taking Akavar about 6 days ago. I didn't think it was going to work but I figured why not try it. I'm down over 5 pounds already, I am working out as normal and eating healthy for breakfast and lunch. For dinner I eat whatever I want (have always done this for the whole time). If anyone wants to ask me about it and make sure I am a realy person (www.myspace.com/SPolgar).

I just tried this pill for the first time, but a lot of the things I agree with. I drink (seriously) about a gallon of water a day at work...6-8 20oz cups of water. Yes it does fill you up, but being a normal human being i to wanted to try this product. If it works it works, if it doesnt then ill just keep doing what im doing. I go to the gym Monday, Wednesday, and Friday every week for at least 2 hours, an walk for a full hour at steady pace, tuesdays and thursdays i walk my dog about 2 miles...another good tip is WALK...do NOT run...I am a physicians assistant studying Osteopathy (bones). Walk at a steady pace, not to slow...not to fast. It will take a little bit of time but if you walk about a mile a day, you WILL see results. I went from a size 13 to a size 4 JUST by walking and maybe lifting small weights here and there, but personal things happen therefore i gained back more weight so i was curious to try Akavar...and like I said, if it works, it workd...if it doesnt then back on the tredmill and back around town I go! Good luck to you all!

I have been seriously trying to lose 30 lbs since February of 2008. I have reduced my caloric intake to 1200 - 1500 calories per day. I have also increased my excercise to 30 min of brisk walk per day. I have lost 8 lbs so far... but now I am famished all of the time!! My sister gave be some akavar to try...On day 1 I had a headache and lots of potty breaks! Day two slight headache...I still feel famished!! I will take it for a couple more days.... Not sure it is helping me... but my Mom & Sister swear by it!! I do feel like I have a little more energy.

I just bought Akavar yesterday 3/30/08. After taking my first 2 pills yesterday I felt energized. I had dinner then felt completely satisfied. I had no desire to snack later. Today is my second day and for lunch I had special K cereal with a mini bagel. Once again I became full and had no desire to snack. I have not experienced any heartburn or other side effects besides not being able to fall asleep the first night till 1am. I love the energy boost so far. I'm 22, 144lbs and I try to watch what I eat. I workout about 4-5 times a week. I'll post in about a week to tell you my results. If any one wants to e-mail back and forth about their progress I would appreciate it. I hope these work!

I have been taking Akavar since middle November of last year. So far I have lost an amazing 60lbs! It says you can eat ANYTHING but I don't advise that. Common sense tells you go on a sensible diet along with this. This helps your diet and burning more calories than you consume and gives me a lot of energy :)

Idk if tis juss me or if my eating habits has changed but after 3 months of giving birth to my son, i went from 145lbs to 166lbs up until the day my son was born. With my son and all of the other stuff that came off on the day of deliverly, i lost about 15lbs all in that same day. then 3 months later i gained about 7lbs and was always stucked in between 157lbs and 159lbs. I went shopping around for diet pills and came across akavar, so far from the first day that i started using this pill, i went from 157/158lbs to 154.5/155.5lbs, and that was only within 3 days of using it. For some it might work but i guess for me the way that it SEEMS to be working is that I changed my eating habits, im asian so i usually eat my meals with rice everyday....and it was so hard to lose weight and then when i started to use this product i substitute the rice with a bowl of salad and w/e side i might have after the 15mins of taking the pills. within an hour after my meals i feel my stomach burning up the calories that was consumed and i've gained much energy but on the negative side have had some blurry visions and almost some dizziness when i exericise....so really for my opinion try it to see if it works but if it doesnt, theres always other options, though for myself i am going to give this product a whole month to see if there would be alil more effect on losing weight. so for everyone else, good luck!

i would give akavar 20/50 an 8 out of 10. for all of those who claim to be eating nonstop and gorging yourselves with food and eating more than you really should are STUPID. these pills arent miracle workers. they just aid you along your diet and goals to lose weight. granted some of the things that is printed on akavar says you can eat whatever you want to gain attention from people but theyre telling you that you DO NOT have to count colries and that you can eat pizza if you want and not have to worry. you can go to a buffet if you want but you stop when youre full - thats a given. you dont eat and eat and eat. for those who just dont know when to stop eating, perhaps you sohuld first try to fix your eating habits before you leave negative comments on diet pills. i tried alli and i give that about a 3 out of 10. i lost some weight but the side effects were horrible beyond anything whether iw as eating fatty foods or not plus i felt like iw as starving myself. Carb Intercept frm Natrol is a 9 out of 10. it does its job and i see results. i dont feel bad about being asian and eating my rice and noodles. ;o) and for the ladies i would recommend using akavar, carb intercept w/ phase 2, and slimquick w/ hoodia packets or pills. 15 minutes of exercise every other day and i guarantee you will see results. no matter what you do make sure you drink lots of water everyday.

I have been taking akavar for about a week,No weight loss yet,I have noticed I eat less. The reason I eat less is becouse I feel like my stomach is going to pop all day long, and im not hungry.I like the idea that Im not hungry but I feel even bigger becouse my stomach feels so bloated,Has anyone else had this problem?Does that mean they are working,And how long does the bloating last before seeing results. Thanks for the help.
