Akavar

Claims that you can eat all you want and still lose weight.

Top Rated Diet Pills of 2024
BACKGROUNDBACKGROUND Start the Diet Now Advertisement

Akavar 20/50 is a European weight loss pill that has achieved much success. It has made its move to the U.S. seeking the same. Akavar boasts that it is the ultimate fat cure and that you'll see the results you seek without any diet restrictions or inclusion of exercise.

Akavar is designed to restrict your daily caloric intake to less than normal. Without those calories that your body requires for energy, you'll start to use your fat reserves. This will of course cause you to lose weight and inches. However, you'll immediately gain back that weight should you stop using Akavar. The website offers little-to-know information about the product leaving open many questions about the supplement.

Do You Know the Best Diet Pills of 2024?

PROPRO
  • Promotes eating all you like and still seeing weight loss
  • Reduces urge to overeat
  • Do not have to count calories
  • Won't feel hungry
CONCON

Akavar 20/50 leaves a lot to be desired. Some of the more concerning details include:

  • Promotes a lifestyle without exercise and healthy diet
  • No FDA approval
  • Web site offers very little information
  • No published clinical research
  • Does not publish ingredients
  • Contains caffeine
INGREDIENTSINGREDIENTS

It takes a lot of research to find what is inside those little Akavar tablets, as the product's website bypasses any discussion. Akavar includes many caffeine sources including xanthine and green tea leaf. Other ingredients include yerba mate, guarana seed, ginger root, kola nut, Tibetan ginseng, cocoa nut, rice flour, yellow no. 6, red no. 3 and Gelatin, among many others.

CONCLUSIONCONCLUSION

Akavar 20/50 leaves a lot of open questions- which really leads to concerns about both the product's effectiveness and impact on the body. With so many diet pills and supplements on the market, it is important for manufacturers to paint a detailed picture of the product to help consumers make the most educated decisions. Many diet pills and supplements provide all of the information that Akavar seems to have conveniently left out. It is also a little misleading that without diet and exercise you can still lose weight. Anyone who has ever committed to losing weight knows that without important changes to diet and exercise, results are often not achieved.

December 15th, 2008 i weighed in at 231 lbs. I was a size 18. I am 5ft 2 inches tall so you can only image it was NOT pretty. Now i have always been a pretty Heavy person but i have a very large bone size for someone as short as i am. For instance when i was a size 3 slim i weighed 145lbs. Nobody believed me and made me constantly get on a scale and prove them wrong. I didn't care though because i looked and felt great about myself. I am now a size 5/6 and today is May 10th, 2008 so i have lost alot of weight in a short period of time as i now weigh 154 lbs. However, let me add that i did this WITHOUT Akavar. I am however having issues trying to lose the last little bit of weight to get to my goal weight of 145. Anyway I decided to start using this Akavar I want to stop taking it but have talked to other people who keep telling me to hang in there because you don't lose weight right off the bat normally, but that all of the sudden BAM you'll start losing it like crazy. I have only been on it for a week but, i can honestly say that i am terrible at following the directions of take the pills and wait 15 minutes. When i do actually follow the directions i feel Very full and don't eat that much. It makes me wonder if it is one of those pills that blow up in your stomach making there less room for you to consume food. I have tried alot of diet pills in my life and had NO luck because i am just not a pill person. If anyone is curious how i lost weight so quickly without Akavar, it was Wal-Mart Michelina Lean gourmet meals. I ate them 3-4 times a day believe it or not but, it still was less than 1000 calories a day and i quit drinking my calories. I love starbucks but they are EVIL. I kinda half think that these pills won't do anything for me at all but, i am willing to try. Good Luck to everyone on here, I hope you all reach your goals in life wether it be weight loss or otherwise related... Just don't give up!

As a 40+ Puerto Rican male I always found it hard to lose weight. For PR's everything is a feast. We eat large heavy meals and we use any excuse to have a pig roast. I was ingreat shape after my military years but after getting married and later stopped playing baseball & because of injuries, I had gain weight. You never really noticed until it's out of control. At 5' 6" & 235 lbs I realized something had to be done. I tried 10 different diets which I will not name but they are all on TV, with no success. I have to admit that I learn a great deal about body types & what different foods do to your body from michael therman's 6 week body make-over. I will also admit that I had lost 10 lbs in 1 week on that diet. However, because of they way the foods were prepared and they way us PRs eat I just could not keep up with the eating change. Puerto ricans, we need our rice & beens and our pork or someone is going to get hurt!! When I stop his diet I gained the weight & more for good measures. It was then when I decided to lose weight on my our routine & my own terms but to do that I needed to change certain things and I will get to Akavar in a minute. 1: I hate plain water so I started using a water bottle with Crystal lite to go packs and at home Fit & Active tea (that's right!!! from ALDI). 2: When you sleep, so does your metabolism. So, as soon as I wake up I have a small bowl of cereal or a 1/2 cup of oatmeal. Think of it like this, if you wake up at 6 and not eat a meal until lunch at noon and your body burns 100 calories an hour; then; then thats 600 extra calories a day you could be burning. now amagine in a week's time. 3: Come lunch & dinner I would take out half my lunch & dinner off my plate and pack it for lunch the next day. Imagine have the meals equal have the calories. What you eat is not as important as how much you eat. I still eat whatever I want I just don't each as much. 4: Try to eat a healthy meal as often as possible. Instead of McDonalds go to Subway and stay away from soda!!! 5: After you eat you will not feel full but you will not feel hungry. After a week or 2 you will notice that you will no longer be able to eat big meals because you stomach has shrunk. But if 2 hours after you eat you feel hungry then eat a piece of fruit or another bowl of ceal (it's only 170 calories). 6: Guys this was the tuff one. Try to stay away from beer (Notice I said try). I ride a Harley Road King so you know when you are with all your riding buddies you can't help but to drink. I switched to Conac mixed with diet 7up or on the rocks. The thought was simple it is still alcohol but it is stronger so I would drink slower allowing me not to need as may in 1 day. I know it may be crazy but it still worked for me. 7: Even if you work and no excuses because I work 2 jobs, try to do an activity for 15 to 30 minutes each evening. I would either shoot basket in the drive way, take a walk with the wife (gets her off her a$$ also) or go in the garage and work on my Harley. Anything is fine just do not sit on the couch and watch TV. 8: Set reasonable goals and after you have met them set the next goal. Goals to are aggresive can cause you to give up if you do not meat them. That is all I did and it was slow, more of a life change then losing weight. I lost 30 lbs in about 6 months without breaking a sweat for the first time. Then I went 6 months just eating the same way I just started doing without a activities in the evening to see if the weight comes back, but not a pound. I went back to the activities in the evening and lost another 5 lbs. Here is were Akavar came in, now at 202 lbs for the last 3 months no matter what I eat or what activities I did I would not lose another pound. I started taking Akavar this week and noticed I had lost 3 lbs in 5 days. I also noticed that when I would take them 15 minutes before I eat, that I would sit and take a bite or 2 then realize that I wasn't hungry at all. I am now at 199 lbs and still going. I will check in from time to time and update my progress. My advise to everyone, no matter you goals of losing weight there is no diet in the world that will help you lose the weight and keep it off. If you are determine to lose the weight you need to change you life style including the way you eat & drink. You can lose 500 lbs but if you do not change your eating habits you will always gain it back. Think about it. Ask yourself this question how did you get fat in the 1st place? Eating!! You want to lose weight change how much you eat and do not worry so much about what you eat. I know it's a long e-mail but I hope it helps even if it is just 1 person. If it does then tell your story and maybe you will help someone else.

Well I have success to report. I've been using Akavar since my last post, taking two in the morning before my first meal (I increased to this dosage after a short period). The pill is *definitely* working as claimed. My appetite has been markedly reduced, my energy level has increased a little, and most importantly, I HAVE LOST WEIGHT! Off the top of my head, I'd guess around 30 or 40 pounds now. I can't say exactly how much as I don't have a scale and haven't had the courage to step on one yet, but without a doubt, my clothes feel looser in places (a couple of items are now almost *too loose*), and I'm finding it easier to get in and out of my car - in fact I've finally been able to move the seat forward a bit (my tummy doesn't need as much room). I can see it in various other ways as well. I will report back in a few more months to let everyone know how it's working out.

It helps with my hunger cravings. I used to eat to cope with stress and I don't get hungry anymore. I've been on it for about 4 weeks and I have lost 5 pounds. I don't always drink a bunch of water before the pill, but I am doing crunches and drinking a healthy amount of water. So far, it has been a better pill then some others I've tried

Hello Everyone! I am 5'2, 39 years old and the Mom of 3 year old boys. My normal weight is 110 lbs but over this winter I gained 15 lbs. I go the gym and like to keep fit. I started eating healthier 2 weeks ago but still weight 118 lbs after all that diet and exercise. I have been on Akavar for two days and when I weighed myself this morning I was 114. I could not believe it. It may be a combination of everything but I really saw a difference. I ate a little less than normal the last two days also. So, if you just have a stubborn 10 - 15 lbs, this pill, so far, has proven it does work. P.S. I tried Alli and that was literally flushing money down the toilet.

Hey everyone! i've been taking akavar for about two and a hafl months, and its's been a success i use to weight 158 lbs and now im 138.5 lbs no joke but of course i've been taking walks a week and also have controled what i've been eating. akavar doesn't work on everyone, but if you take some steps as well it will help. The box does mention if a diet plan and excersice is included weight loss will work faster. So far akavar has been working for me and just to tested i stop taking it for two weeks and ate like crazy to see if i gained weight again cause its said that if you lose weight fast the weight can come back twice faster but i didnt gain weight i stayed the same weigh, so i am happy with the results!!

I bought Akavar 4 days ago and am amazed at how quickly it is working. I do have more energy than I usually do. Being age 40 it has been taking me longer to lose excess weight as opposed to when I was in my 20's. I'm already noticing a difference in my body since I've been taking it. I feel great!!! Having weighed myself because I prefer to see the visual difference rather then obsess over loss of pounds.

So, I just want to say that while skeptical, I'm going to try it. Costco had it for $28 for 90, so the cost isn't too bad. I wish all the 17 year olds would NOT try this or ANY diet pill. A good rule of thumb...if you type in text message code, you are too young for diet pills. Also, if you have someone to "hide" it from like a parent, don't bother taking it. There's a reason why you have to be 18 to buy diet pills.

Im on my 2nd week and I lost 7 lbs. I eat sweets and salty foods 2x a week, just move around or dance when listening to music just to sweat then heavy exercise 1x in a week. i put myself in to thinking that this pill wont make me eat so sometimes i barely eat something; kept myself busy.

Almost every ingredient in this pill is caffeine, and though I only take 2 a day (instead of 4) it is nearly impossible for me to fall asleep. Despite this, i am used to sleeping 8 - 9 hours a day and still being exhausted. I havent had more then 5 hours a night since starting the pill and Im totally awake (not wired). No change in weight but its only been 5 days.

Well, I'm starting today, along with the slim fast plan. I have dieted enough to know that you can't just take a pill, eat what you want, and expect it to come off! I need to lose 40 pounds and am hoping for the best! I plan on walking on my treadmill some and outside too. I have enjoyed reading the comments, especially the positive ones. Hope to add some of those myself soon.

This is my 4th day taking this pill, I don't see any results and yet I'm still hungry. I feel like this is a waste of time and money, I wonder if you can get a refund because this does not work for me.
