Maggie Badore of DietsInReview attended The Biggest Loser open casting call in New York City to bring you an insider's look at how contestants for the show are chosen. Over 800 people turned up for the audition, which is part of the search for contestants to be on the 13th season of the wildly popular and inspiring reality television show. We spoke with contestant hopefuls, past contestants and casting directors.

In this video, Maggie interviews Rita Koutsoulis, who has been one of the casting directors for The Biggest Loser for four years. She shares what you can expect at a casting call, what The Biggest Loser is looking for in a contestant, and the worst thing you can do at an audition.
