Purple Tomatoes

Newly engineered purple tomatoes have 3x the antioxidants of regular tomatoes.

An English research group has engineered a new tomato- and it's purple. They used anthoycyanins from snapdragons to breed the new purple tomato, giving these new hued fruits three times as much antioxidant power as their red counterparts.
