NBC Today - Life With Diabetes

The Today Show takes a look at what living with diabetes looks like.

November is Diabetes Awareness Month. There are 20 million Americans suffering from Diabetes today and many more who may unknowingly have the disease. The Today Show highlights an 11-year-old with type 1 diabetes and her continuous glucose monitor. Her mother, who also has diabetes says, "we're at a point where we can address the disease" and the best way to fight it is to stay aware and vigilant.

Being a suferer of diabetes and it being such an epidemic in this country, its so helpful to hear more about this disease and getting in the media
