John Rhode is a 40-year-old from Mesa, Arizona, where he works as a special eduction teacher and football coach. Because of his weight he doesn't feel he can live life to its fullest with his family, which includes his wife and two young sons. As a player he'd have to eat to gain weight, but now he says it's sterss that leads him to unnecessarily overeat. When he realized he would have to eat a meal to get through a problem, he knew it was time to make a change.
