Jill Knapp's Success Story

After losing 100 pounds, Jill went on to compete in beauty pageants.

Jill Knapp was slender when she got married, but slowly started gaining weight as she had children. Her weight peaked at 237 pounds and she was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Rather than taking medication for the rest of her life, Jill made it a priority to control the disease through diet and exercise. She went on to compete in the Mrs. Idaho pageant after losing 100 pounds. Jill also was able to get off medication, and is now a diabetes advocate for the American Diabetes Association.

Jill also created a blog, Get Up & Get Moving, to help spread the word about diabetes prevention.

This was the best weight loss story I have ever seen. Nice to see right as I am setting my new year goals.
