About Me:

Am 5'6," 220 lbs, have struggled with wt since first child. lost 100 lbs in1972, kept it off until I quit smoking in 2001.

The goals I'm working toward:

  • Thinking more of myself
  • losing excess wt
  • continue exercising for as long as I can move

I haven't felt comfortable with my weight since:

My favorite healthy food:

fresh veggies

My guiltiest pleasure:

triple dip cappuccino chunky chocolate waffle cone at Brahms

I'm inspired to live a healthy life because:

I want to grow old healthy, fit and active

Healthy habits that work for me:

  • going to the YMCA
  • removing the biggest stress factor in my life
  • being a good example for my grown children

My favorite activity at the gym is:

all but cardio classes

The accomplishments I'm most proud of:

  • going to college at age 55, made deans list one semester and presidents list the other three
  • being so close to my children in all respects
  • being a person that has been real, honest, and strong on my own
