Rulon Gardner's Biggest Loser 11 Journey

Although it looked to many from the start that Rulon was set to win the entire Biggest Loser competition, he made a surprising announcement in week 17. He unexpectedly decided to go home, "for personal reasons." He did not weigh in a final time before leaving, and did not offer any further explanation, although he did say that he felt he had achieved what he wanted to on The Biggest Loser.
